This special boy has an underlying skin condition and recently injured his back leg, it was a small cut that very very quickly spiralled out of control. His lovely owner is unfortunately struggling for money as she very recently lost her husband. She went to her vet for help, after explaining her situation she asked if they could help. The vet said "if you can't afford his treatment maybe you should put him to sleep" i was there myself she had no compassion at all. This just isnt an option he's only 6 and adored by his human mum who told me he has been her rock since loosing her husband. I have an amazing vet who stepped up straight away to help and so this lovely boys treatment has begun. We have paid the bill so far but there will be quite a bit more treatment needed so if you could even spare a £1 we would be so grateful.

We had a lovely update this morning about Sergio one of the little hamsters we resently needed homes for. With time and love he's becoming friendly and beginning to enjoy being picked up. A lucky little chap to find a loving home.

A great day for these two sweeties making friends and becoming hutch buddies. Love Guinea pigs, such sweet animals.

This is just priceless. Our little baby goldfinch still wants mummy and daddy to feed it. It followed me around all morning yesterday singing away, then it landed on a couple of my dog training clients then came and sat on my hand while I fed it. Totally adorable how it follows us around the garden has some food then flys away. What a privilege. Xx

Due to the fact they've been separated they unfortunately cant be reunited without fighting so they will all need to live on their own. PM if you are interested. We need a special home for this gorgeous boy. He was found in someone's garden. He's very very friendly and full of fun. Due to the fact he is very lively and will end up quite a big boy he's going to need a very spacious home. Please pm us if you are interested. Another happy ending! This is the boa that was dumped outside our shop on one of the coldest nights we had in the winter, we thought it was dead, we put it in the warm and it was about 3 hours before we saw any signs of life. The poor thing struggled for quite some time, a good couple of months before it was eating properly but it has made a full recovery and went off to its new forever home with Darren at Hawk Farm. This snake is the reason we started our animal rescue so we will always have a soft spot for it.
