This includes price comparisons for higher & lower cost items depending on your budget.

All I need is some images of the space, the colours of the room you need help with & a list of items you are looking for.

These examples are a request for help to soften a living room based on blue, grey & wooden elements.

Here are some colour board options I pulled together for my client following the moodboards I posted last week.

The colour base of her design options were grey, a light neutral & blue so after the toned blues I worked on first, we worked on accent colours to liven the scheme up a little.

Your main colours cover the majority of the space like walls, carpets, rugs, sofas & the accents offer you a pop of colour.

These can be anything from photo frames, candles, blankets, throw cushions & lamp shades.

There are a few options here to tie the colours together, some a little more vibrant than others but my job not just to see what you like but to find out what you don’t like as well!

I was invited for lunch in the most beautiful dining room today with a special guest. Talk about panelling goals 💕

I received a very special delivery from one of my lovely clients this weekend, how beautiful are these!

Spending time in one of my absolute favourite places in the UK with Mr LTD. This is such a special place for us, perfect for a sunny day. It’s an interior designers dream…..

Here are some mood boards I created recently for the loveliest client.

She wanted some ideas & colour advice for her living room & some new sofas.
It’s a beautiful neutral room with a grey pink toned carpet & wooden accents. She really loves blue so we started with that as a base.

I worked on some colour options as accents to grey & white & introduced additional wooden elements to tie in with the existing furniture.

Picture shelves are an amazingly versatile option to use to display artwork & photos as these can be changed frequently with seasons & moods & can be used to update decor & colour changes.

I included various sofa ideas & overall themes. Stay tuned for some more images on this project.

Spare Room Reorganisation session

Unused rooms are perfect for clutter. It’s so easy to just pop things in there & close the door. Until they get full! That’s where I come in.

My client was really worried about her sentimental items but she did an amazing job of sorting through them with me.

We decluttered, cleared, introduced new storage options, created a location system & utilised her gorgeous new storage boxes.

I also made her a gifting station full of easily accessible cards, gift bags, wrapping paper & gifts.

5 hours & a boot full of donations later…..she was very happy.

My new restaurant crush! How beautiful is this place? Pretty, & whimsical with a fab menu, lush cocktails, an Instagrammable photo op & a terrace with a river view 💕

Sometimes our bedrooms are the least of our priorities but actually this is one of the most important rooms to keep calm.

If you have a cluttered space, it is so much harder to wind down before sleep & when you wake up it’s a stark reminder of all the things you haven’t done & creates an immediate internal guilt which builds up & up over time.

So this is where we started. We removed the full entertainment centre which took up alot of space & created an overwhelming area perfect for clutter. We replaced this with more functional storage options & minimised the electrical items.

We pulled everything apart, cleared & cleaned, de-cluttered, rearranged, polished & tidied everything away together.

My client is now left with a clear space ready for some new decor ideas & a plan to move forward which hopefully includes a calmer & good nights sleep. Hopefully I will be back for the room she actually wanted me to advise on!

A Top Tip for bedrooms is to use baskets or pretty storage boxes to contain items, especially toiletries. This ensures that they are grouped together & contained & it’s much easier to clean.

We worked really hard on this together & I was really impressed at how well she handled her decisions throughout the process.

So this is 6 hours, 12000 steps, half a skip bag, an amazing freshly baked Oreo cookie tray bake slice, 1 bag of recycling, a boot full of items for the charity shop & a happy client later.

We took a trip to Glass & Craft in Suffolk with the kids today for a little Easter treat.

If you haven’t been before, it’s a really cute craft shop where you can have a session in painting, glass painting, mosaic, foam clay, decoupage, sand pictures, stuff your own bears & lots of other things.

They serve hot drinks & snacks & have a lovely shop section selling local handmade items. The kids loved it & I attempted a decoupage rocking zebra 🦓

There’s also free parking & a gorgeous lunch at The Millers Kitchen next door.

Room reorganisation session.

Children’s bedrooms are often harder to organise than you would think.
They have so many more requirements in the mix, clothes storage, entertainment, sleep zone, space for floor play, toy organisation, laundry, books and most importantly room for cuddles.

Keeping it tidy is one thing, staying on top of the laundry is a whole new other level and as for the toys being kept organised and the floor staying clear, well that’s just pot luck.

I had the pleasure of a bedroom re-organisation & 5 hours later we have one calm, clear, pretty space.

We introduced a new set of drawers and replaced the fabric cubes for clothes storage, utilised the tops of the wardrobes a little more, incorporated two velvet chests for toy storage but with seat options, bought new scatter baskets to contain fidget toys and dressing table accessories & reconfigured the clothes organisation.

There was no editing or decluttering in this room, everything was just cleared, folded and tidied or hung in its own place.

The wardrobes were organised with a rainbow approach. Colour coding makes it much easier to find what you are looking for and makes it look much more streamlined.

This was a delightful job and we were very happy with the results. It is now fit for a little Princess.

One of the best things about a decluttering service is the immediate calm following a session.

In just an hour or two I can clear & sort my way through everything & work with you to remove the unloved items taking up your space.

Now this entire boot full of lovely clothes has been donated to my favourite regular charity who work tirelessly to help those in need.

This wardrobe edit created 2 binbags worth of clothes to be donated & a whole load of new space (hopefully not to be filled up too quickly!)

I created a cube just for work wear as this is no dedicated area.

Cubes are more accessible than drawers so anything that isn’t used daily is better in a drawer.

We came across 56 pairs of socks & 8 lonely singles. After a bit of haggling we got these down to 30 pairs (still slightly excessive but I was happy)

Using the Rainbow approach for hanging clothes makes wardrobes so much more streamlined & clothes become so much more easily accessible.

For any of you who like themed hotels, we had a half term trip to Chessington Hotel & went to the zoo.
The hotel has jungle themed rooms & we got a room overlooking the zebras & reserve. It had lovely restaurants & a little movie tent in reception for the kids along with evening entertainment. The kids loved it & so did we. The theme park opens soon so we will definitely be going back.

A few more from my favourite garden centre the other day. There was so much to see & so much inspiration for me. They created a travel back in time theme & had set designs of Christmas rooms from different time periods, such an amazing concept & really nostalgic. Serious retail design goals.

Spent the afternoon at my favourite garden centre today 💕

The magic was all around & my little girl absolutely loved the displays. (That’s my girl!)

I always love coming here but today it was absolutely stunning, the VM Team have done an absolutely amazing job!

And it isn’t a trip to Perrywoods if you don’t eat up with a cream tea at the end!

I know they will already be planning Christmas 2024, I wonder if there’s room for a little one in their team!

I had a moment today. You know when you go to get one thing, get distracted & end up pulling it all out to find said thing?

It was a gift bag assassination!

I have a bag hoarding tendency, mainly because I hate waste & re-use as much as possible but also, I just love bags (and pots!)

It’s been on my list of things to do for such a long time but I never get round to it. It’s one of those things where I spend so much more time looking for what I need each time than it would take me to actually sort it all out!

So here we go. 45 minutes of impromptu bag organising later, I can now safely direct everyone in my family to exactly what they need & not have to clear up after they have pulled it all out 😂

Plus I now know I don’t actually need any Christmas wrapping paper 😂 So if you get a gift in a bag from me, know that it has been caringly stored with love 💕

Organisation Service - Before & After.

Sometimes you just need a little help with tidying up. A few hours is all it takes to clear, sort, tidy, clean & organise.

This before & after took a few hours to go through & was cleared & cleaned in a day.

The most important thing to note here is that nothing was thrown away or donated, it was literally just a mega tidy up!

Sometimes there’s a worry that having a declutter session means you will have to get rid of loads of stuff.

That’s not always the case & to be honest I’m more of a Stacey than a Dilly!

Our homes are so multifunctional since Covid and this dining room/office/storage area shows that it can work out with the appropriate systems introduced.

We did a little exploring this weekend in the most adorable place.

I am just as interested in architecture as interiors so my poor husband has yet again been dragged around outside but look at how pretty it is!

We have a date this weekend & I always choose hotels with gorgeous design elements so that I can take myself on a decor inspo tour.

Mr & Mrs Smith hotels are our favourites & the history of this hotel is amazing as a Grade 2 listed building dating from 17th century.

I love the industrial style softened with natural elements, wood, wicker, textured throws & floral cushions.

My favourite aspects are the sliding metal door & one of the dining tables is made out of an iron sewing table base.

It’s got a bustling vibe here & being woken up by the church bells opposite our window over the river Avon was beautiful.

The views are stunning & I am very happy with our choice.
