organise your space with systems that work for you
Are you excited for the return of routine? You’re not alone!
As someone who thrives on time alone for creativity, reflection, and planning, I’m welcoming the routine with open arms.
Of course, there’s a bit of sadness too—we’ll miss having our eldest daughter around.
Even with summer in full swing, I’ve been busy with multiple Tidy & Clean visits, and I’m thrilled to see so many of you returning for more. Your support is utterly fabulous!
While school’s been out, I’ve shared more of my personal life on Instagram stories. But now, I’m eager to get back to showing you more of what you love here on my grid.
If you’re looking for help to return your home to its pre-summer state, give me a call!
I’m here to help you transition smoothly into this new season.
Dad, what was four years ago feels like it could have been yesterday.
Thank you for modelling freedom, passion and creativity to the world.

I had a fabulous time at Brightlingsea beach this weekend.
How did you spend your weekend?
I’ve been intentionally spending less time on social media.
It’s made space for quality connection, improved mental health and more time!
It comes at a risk, of course.
I love Curated Space, the wonderful clients who trust and invest in the services I deliver and you - the Instagram audience!
Thank you for engaging, following, sharing, commenting!
What are you grateful for?
Love,

‘come in, excuse the mess!’
Why? Why do we say this?
I say it!
I’m trying to unlearn apologising for my home that looks, well, lived in and lacking in storage.
If you’ve worked with me you’ll know storage is the answer! Well that…and less stuff of course!
I don’t quite have a shovel, but I do have an estate car, with a big boot. Let’s fill my car with your ‘s**t’ (no I don’t really believe it’s s**t) it may sit there for a day or two, until I get around to donating or recycling.
If you want to get rid of s**t

My client transformed this space from a work from home desk to this gorgeous dresser a while back. But like many surfaces in our homes, they attract…
1. The project you work on when you get a moment
2. Pocket contents (queue a handful of coins 🪙)
3. Anything that spills over into another area
This serene nook had a clean & clear from top to bottom. Removing rogue items & more!
Again, the benefits of the Tidy & Clean service is being inspired to review what’s serving you in your home!
My client started a charity shop bag during my visit 🥳

(my 5 year old says ‘sharing is caring…’ I thought this was cute… until I got tonsillitis for the second time in 4 weeks)
Here’s an area from yesterday’s Tidy & Clean session!
This work and study area is so colourful, vibrant and quirky! It’s always important to maintain personality.
To achieve functional desk space, I ensured additional surface space was provided.
Again, my client was self-motivated to declutter items during the ‘messy middle’! This meant there were less items for me to return to the spaces.
These drawers had a tidy too, and there’s one for everyone now!
The space had a deep clean too…
Cobwebs 🕸️ GONE
Dust 🧼 GONE
Floor - hoovered

This client asked for their kitchen to be ready for a gathering this weekend.
This space was going to be the home of food prep, drinks, socialising & celebrations!
This kitchen has many personal touches and it was so important to maintain these framed prints, house plants & joyful sentimental items!
My aims were…
Available worktop spaces for food preparation
Zoning for morning rituals & drink making facilities
Deep clean of kitchen space
Not only did we get this space party ready this client has also requested monthly maintenance sessions!
Would you like to know another bonus?
My client was super motivated to fill a whole bag of donations ready for the charity shop during my visit!
DM me to discuss your Tidy & Clean session!

I protected my body when breastfeeding because society sets us up for keeping this hidden… by selling gorgeous privacy protectors*…
I hid my home from visitors because it wasn’t pictured perfect, it was cluttered, messy and dare I say it…
…underneath, dirty!
I no longer hide our breastfeeding moments from the world
AND
I’m on a journey to opening the doors to my home
Come with me?
*protecting your privacy is a choice, it’s your body, your experience, I am purely using my personal growth in breastfeeding and housekeeping as an example*

Certainly, pay attention to your dreams. But...
..if your dreams start to feel overwhelming or out of reach, don't let them discourage you.
Instead, take a step towards making them a reality.
Maybe even start with small steps regularly, and you'll begin to move towards your goal of an organised space.
Where will you start today?
My personal journey of mental health and clutter for Mental Health Awareness Week 13-19 May.
During the perinatal period, I experienced anxiety. Looking back, likely PTSD too. Our home became overwhelmed with well-meaning gifts for our new baby, adding to my anxiety.
Seeking support, I hired a Professional Organiser Jenn Jordan. Together, we decluttered and organised, while working up a sweat, bringing calm and relief to our home and my emotional wellbeing.
By caring for our space, we not only improve our mental wellbeing but also our physical health. Did you know engaging in activities like decluttering and organising can be a form of physical activity? Imagine the workout I've had on these warmer days emptying out garages and sheds! 😅
Remember, it's okay to seek help if you're overwhelmed by clutter or struggling with mental health. Taking small steps can have a positive impact.
Give it a go, put your favourite tune on and shimmy as you declutter a kitchen cupboard!
Here's a photo of me and my first born around a week after her birth. Don't be fooled by my wide smile, my physical and mental health were in tatters. This is my wardrobe from a similar time and despite it transitioning through postnatal, breastfeeding, pregnancy and repeat... it's remained quite minimal.
Just how I like it.
It’s been non-stop illnesses over here, for weeks. I’m tired of it now. I know it’s no one’s fault. It’s like there’s this illness shadow hanging over us, preventing us from being our true selves. I feel like I am holding my breath sometimes, until I have my personal space and I can see to my own needs for a few hours. I’d have liked to have been more calm & nurturing for my children. Truth is, im inner autumn (pre-menstrual phase) and i really would like to be left alone. My surroundings have been neglected, affecting our use of the home & my mental health.
Do you relate to any of this?
It’s not all clutter and illnesses…
Here’s some highlights of my week…
1. at with
2. Pitting medjool dates ready to be filled with smooth peanut butter and coated in 85% dark chocolate. Thanks for this recipe
3. Youngest child having a fab beach day with Daddy
4. Someone has this beautiful rose in their front garden!
5. Lentil soup recommended by . It was so tasty I’ve eaten it all week!
6. It’s all about balance right? This Mars blondie was super sweet so enjoyed in two sittings made me the most delicious flat white to go with it
7. Bagged this pot for £1 in my local charity shop. I have no use for it since I am not great at plant care. Why do I have an allotment again?!
8. I’ve had these posters for around 8 months and not displayed one until this week 😅 thanks for enabling me to advertise my business

Do your drawers close?
👆That’s to go in the washing machine

👈🏼 That pile is for ironing and then putting away and, and, and breathe… 😅
Have you considered a laundry system?
🗝 I am going to suggest a some approaches you could try…
