From 26th November 2021, the global Lush brand will be turning its back on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and Snapchat, until these platforms take action to provide a safer environment for users. This policy is rolling out across all the 48 countries where Lush operates.

In the same way that evidence against climate change was ignored and belittled for decades, concerns about the serious effects of social media are barely being acknowledged.

Lush, well known for being leaders rather than followers, has decided to address these serious issues now and to start by changing its own practices rather than waiting until others notice that there is actually a real problem.

💜 Please continue to wear a face covering if you feel more comfortable. Though this is no longer a requirement for staff and customers.
❤️ Hand sanitiser and washing is still available and encouraged upon entry should you wish to use this.
🧡 Testers are available as always and we’ll be continuing to use spatulas during application for hygiene reasons.
💛 Demos continue to be available and we now have the added option of skin contact. For staff and customers alike you can also request a guided demonstration of our products and have all of the lovely demo information with a contact free option!
💚We’re able to start taking party bookings again! Check out our recent post or get in contact for all of the details.
💙 We respect that everyone’s level of comfort is different and we will support our team and customers in any and all decisions made.
