During this time of profound sorrow, we will remained closed this week as a mark of respect.
Our hearts ache for the Ross family and the extended family circle, as they try to navigate this unimaginable loss. 💔
It is an emotionally difficult time for all the staff and it will take time to process our thoughts, feelings and emotions.
The impact Lydia had on all our lives is a testament to the beautiful soul she truly was. We are so thankful for the time spent with Lydia in the salon, such a valued member of our team.
Her legacy of love and kindness will forever be remembered. Lydia’s memory will always shine brightly at Sunburst and will live on in the stories, laughter and love shared between the Sunburst girls. We will miss our wee Swiftie immensely. 💔

The Police Service of Northern Ireland can confirm that a woman has sadly died following a single vehicle road traffic collision in Aghadowey.

Lydia Ross, 21, who was from the Ballymoney area, sustained serious injuries in a collision involving a blue Peugeot 207 in the Curragh Road area, which occurred shortly after 10.15pm yesterday evening, Thursday 28th December.

She was taken to hospital for treatment, but sadly passed away from her injuries.

A Police spokesperson said: “Enquiries are ongoing and anyone with information, including dash-cam, CCTV or other footage, is asked to contact Police on 101, quoting reference number 1887 of 28/12/23.”

Alternatively, you can submit a report online using the non-emergency reporting form via http://www.psni.police.uk/makeareport/.
