He had viewings cancelled and was then booked to a new home to be collected tomorrow and now this has cancelled 💔 so he is still looking for someone to take him home.He is a mini 2 yr old Jack Russell just look at those little legs 🥰 and is typical of his breed a real character. He is looking for a home with a female small dog or would be just as happy as an only dog, we don’t know about cats or small children, he would make a great companion dog for someone who enjoys a daily walk or a family, a fully enclosed garden will be required. The little man who we rescued last night was seen today by our amazing vet John Drum from Blackwater Veterinary Clinic.......

He is tiny, underweight and John has aged him at just 2mths old😭😭😭

We have named him Todd and he is a heartbreaker❤️
Another little c**t, abandoned and discarded like rubbish💔💔💔

This time of year should be a quieter time for us but this is our busiest Summer yet!!
We are struggling to keep up at this stage but we couldnt turn our back on Todd❤️

Otis & Gretel

Through absolutely no fault of their own this beautiful pair need to be rehomed. It’s with a very heavy heart their family have to give them up. Please be mindful of comments 💖

Otis is really playful, really good around both people and dogs, he’s very affectionate and loves cuddles, he hides if he doesn’t want to do something (like come in & go to bed!) and is very energetic, Otis loves playing catch but Gretel robs the ball on him! Loves treats especially cheese and desperately just wants to be around you. If he’s in the house with you, he’ll lie beside you.

Gretel loves people more than dogs, loves her ears being rubbed and being clean, she doesn’t really “play” fetch but just robs the ball and gets Otis to chase her. She absolutely LOVES food and is very obedient.

They do really love each other and do cry a little if they’re brought out separately.These two are both approximately nearly 4 years of age. They adore each other and love human company.
They deserve a new loving home who will give them the love they are used to.

Guys we REALLY want to help Shay. He is currently in a dog pound where he is being very well cared for , but he is so very stressed 😣

At almost home we have so many special, wonderful dogs and cats that need their forever homes, we don’t turn away those that will be hard to Rehome, the ones with their health problems from the blind, deaf, older and in between but now we need your help to find these special ones their families.

Over the next few days we will share a little about each and some comments from our wonderful volunteer team who work so hard to give them the best we can.

We love everyone of them and want the best for them, for them to be loved, cherished and truly part of someone’s life.

Everyone meet Mildred 💕

Another firm favourite of mine

Mildred is 8/10 years old, a shy girl until she gets to know you then has so much love to give.

A settled and quiet girl who asks our team for very little, Mildred enjoys a dander and will happily go for her walks but doesn’t expect too much.

She spends her days watching the world go by, snoozing in the sunshine and enjoying attention.

Mildred gets on well with the other dogs and shows no interest in cats.

A quiet and settled home for our beautiful girl.

Sidney is a beautiful gentle boy, around 8/9 years old all round, an all round happy chappy who loves nothing more than a cuddle. 🥰

He is great with dogs and appears to be good with cats, Sidney is looking for his forever retirement home and would like one where he doesn’t need to be in a car for long periods of time as he gets a bit nervous.

Sidney has lived with children aswell, he is a genuine all rounder.

Baby Béatrice or little Bee as she’s been nicknamed.

This littie tiny baby was born with the umbilical card wrapped around her back leg, it has left her with a deformed foot which when she gets bigger and stronger will result in amputation of her leg.

In the meantime she’s being absolutely spoilt rotten by our puppy unit team.
