Naya Bridal
Custom gowns 〡 Ethically sourced & handmade bridal wear
A special customisation 🤍
Parts of Hollies grandmas dress was remade into a style for Hollie herself. We reused the plain tulle fabric to create a train and detached lace overlay.
There was still confetti within the layers of fabric from when it was originally worn 🥹
JUST HOW SPECIAL IS THIS?! 🤩🤩
Swipe for the before ➡️
I kinda love it when someone comes to me with a gown 2 sizes too big. The satisfaction when it then fits like a glove is unreal 👌🏼
We also made Rosie her custom veil! A super simple soft tulle to hug the train length and let the lace do the talking.
🪡 Rosie’s gown alterations included:
- Shorten lace straps
- Add lace feature to front straps
- Take in full side seams with bones and lace
- Shorten intricate lace hem
- Bustle train hook up
- Sew new bra cups in
🤍🤍🤍
And there she is. Alba in her custom style 😍
Alba’s dress is made from an ECO soft satin crepe in pale Ivory. What makes it eco? The fabric 71% Recycled Acetate & 29% Organic Viscose. What a dream 🤍
Her details include:
High leg split
Detachable Bardot sleeves
Beaded straps for the evening
Mesh plunge neckline
B***d and cupped bodice
Just complete beauty
Oh to design your own wedding dress and have it made for you. What more could a bride want?
Voila! Swipe to see the process, and before we fixed this wavey zip ➡️
Buying preloved styles is amazing, but they can come with a challenge or two. Where this dress had been sat with a wavey zip, it had stretched the fabric over time. As well as the zip being stiff, and the fabric being stretchy, we had to get them to work harmoniously together once again.
This can be super common in soft yet heavy fabric like this one. It’s hard to get it back to perfect, but I’m pretty pleased with how flat it turned out! 🤍
A lot of steam, some interfacing, and repositioning the zip worked wonders 👌🏼
Adding sleeves ✂️🪡
Before and after ✨ The bride wanted to continue the lace onto the arm, so we found a stunning eco lace made from 50% Recycled Polyester 50% Recycled Nylon.
I wanted to find a lace that matched the bodice as close as possible, and this lace has that gorg leafy organic feel. I finished 3/4 with the natural edge of the fabric to mirror the leafy neckline. Now it looks like this dress was originally made with these sleeves 🤍
Other alterations to this gown-
- Raising the lace shoulder straps
- Shorten horsehair trim hem
- Train bustle
- And of course adding these lush sleeves

Meet the maker 🤍
Most of you know me, but for those who don’t… Hey, I’m Evie 🥰 Here are a few facts about me:
✨ I’m 28 and have lived in Norfolk since I was 3
✨ I got married last September
✨ Tom (my partner) and I were long distance for 3 years until we moved to Australia and lived in a van 24/7. Yeah, we went all in…
✨ I live for good coffee
✨ We have a labradoodle called Bodhi
✨ And I feel most at home by the coast
This is me, the person creating your wedding styles and sewing your alterations. I can’t wait to meet you 🤍
Thank you for featuring Naya Bridal and announcing the new shop opening in the latest edition 🎉
A magazine I’ve loved flicking through over the years, seeing all the recent weddings, learning about local suppliers, and finding incredible inspiration for my very own wedding!
We also got a cheeky 3 page spread on our wedding from September 2023 too 🥰
Welcome to your new bridal studio ✨

Want something made especially for you?
Then come and say Hello! A cheeky special offer will be given on this day too 🤍 Tell ya friends ✨
Save this for later! 🙌🏼
The enquiries are coming in thick and fast! Including booking to alter your styles.
Here are my main points of advice when it comes to your appointment ⬇️
✨Things I need to know when you email me✨
1) Your wedding date. All appointments are booked a certain time before the big day, so this is always the first think I’ll ask.
2) Roughly what needs altering. I write notes for every appointment, so I can prepare the best I can for when you come.
3) A description or images of your style. Again this helps me know what to expect in our appointment.
✨What you need to bring to the appointment✨
1) Your wedding shoes. 99.9% of styles need shortening, and we need to make sure this is to the correct length! Having your wedding shoes helps me get this perfect.
2) Any specific underwear (if any!) Most styles cater with built in cups and boning, so you shouldn’t need a bra. But if you have something in mind you’d like to wear, you’ll need to bring it.
3) The excitement of getting married. THE MOST Important point! Now is the time you let go of dress-stress if you have any, and leave those worries with me, that’s my job! I’ll take care of your gown, and I’ll take care of you. Let’s have a fun appointment together 🤍🤍🤍
If you have any other questions about booking your appointment, please DM me! Or drop a comment below 🥰

YOU DO YOU GIRL 👏🏼
Honestly, this is my biggest piece of advice. If you’re wearing something you don’t feel yourself in, it shows, and you won’t feel like the confident queen you should on your wedding day. Whether you’re a trend girl and aspire to have the newest fashion forward style, or you’re someone who wants to stick to the style you’ve had for years because you know it works, then you do you girl!
Go with your heart. Go with your gut. & have a bloomin great wedding day ✨

✨ STAY TUNED ✨
As I start winding down for a break at Christmas, I can’t forget to share some of my fave images from our beach shoot with ✨
How magical this evening was… it was pretty cold, but we didn’t stop smiling, laughing and being uncomfortable in front of the camera 😂
Swipe to the end image to see how cold the water was 🌊
Yey to another happy bride with her alterations 🥹😍
Obsessed scrolling through this album from
Things we altered on Anna’s gown -
🪡 Taking in sleeves
✂️ Shortening sleeves with button cuffs
🧵 Raising shoulder seams, sewing all the lace back on
🪡 Shortening the hem
✂️ Adding a bustle hook up for the train
Making scrunchies left, right & centre 🪡
I loveeeeee making scrunchies! The gorg Lucy, got married a year ago and wanted to remove the train on her gown.
She wants to use the material for something else in the future, while making it practical for anniversary photoshoots in her gown without the train 💃🏼
So while removing the train, I made a scrunchie too. I dare you to tell me a better way to use the fabric?!
Girl gotta accessorise 💅🏼
With the exciting venture of relocating my studio, comes some new pieces to go in the space!
I keep alllll my scrap fabric, and I had this stunning 100% silk I’ve been wanting to use for a while. There was just about enough to make this one-off bridal headband, and I’m in love with it 🤍
What do you think?
✨NEW BLOG✨
I’ve written a new piece giving away my tips and tricks for throwing a conscientious wedding!
Throwing a 100% sustainable wedding can be hard, so we opted to be mindful in what we purchased and how we did things.
The wedding industry is arguably one of the most unsustainable industries out there. BUT, more and more couples are considering sustainability throughout the wedding planning process.

New bride alert! 🎉
The stunningly elegant Georgina, in her custom look.
The process with Georgina was very quick, she came to me with only a few months to go until the wedding, so we got to work!
We sat down with her mum and scoured through my fabric books picking out trims and looking at ideas.
Georgina had a strong idea of what she wanted and wasn’t worried to let me know her thoughts. And this is exactly what I need as a designer and dress maker; after all, I can’t read your minds!!
I’ll get together some videos of the making process to show you all very soon! 🤍
