Tonight we are delighted to be hosting the presentation night for the Miners Arms Football team formerly the Bishop Auckland Sports bar from the 2023/24 season.

We are delighted they have decided to play from here for the 2024/25 season.

We have some sensational entertainment from 8pm till 10pm, we can’t wait to welcome the sensational ..

Well the Euro’s is over .. and again we fell at the final hurdle but what a journey .. maybe one day! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

We would like to thank all our customers who turned out for the games and hopefully enjoyed the atmosphere throughout Euros…

Yesterday we stopped letting anyone in from 4pm due to being at full capacity. It is always a hard decision however for the safety of everyone inside and the enjoyment of whose were already in we had no choice … We are very sorry to all those that couldn’t get in, we turned away over 250 people. However, hopefully you enjoyed the game wherever you all watched it! Even though we didn’t get the result we wanted, I am sure so many people had so many amazing memories of the matches.

💙❤️The biggest thank you was to all the team here at The Miners Arms who served 10s of thousands drinks throughout every game of the Euro’s, who have worked so hard to make sure all our customers were served quickly and efficiently at all times… we are so thankful to them each and every day…. Hence why after the Final finished we made the decision to stop serving and wind the evening down. 💙❤️

It’s has been long days for all the team and at times it’s has been very stressful, so we made the decision and had some food meaning the team could take time to relax after a very very long day …

Fingers crossed we can lift a major trophy soon .. it’s been far too long!
