While most of our kids are going to school dress as their favourite characters (We personally have a Tiger Who Came To Tea), I want to talk to you about a book that helped but a lot into perspective when we started our RH Elite journey.

I remember watching Undercover Billionaire and finding out who Grant Cardone was.

And he said one thing which has always stuck with me. 🤔

"If you teach your kids to sell, then you know they'll do just fine".

Now some people look at salespeople like they are a nuisance, a hinderance, while others are outrageously rude to them. 👀

But we all sell. All the time. 😱

👉Employees sell the products or services of their company
👉We sell ourselves at interview

The truth is.... We all sell! Just different things, in different ways. And if you can sell, then he's right... You'll do ok. Because you'll be able to do what it takes to get by.

It's how we have grown our business, and I'm sure it how you will be growing yours! 📈

Just make sure that you believe in what you are selling, and remember that looking after your clients is even more important than selling to them! 👌

Some morning motivation...

Everybody does what they do for money right? 💰

Despite what society says - that IS NOT A BAD THING!!!

Money seems to be such a taboo subject, but we all work for it, we all need it, and we all want it (even if we aren't greedy!).

Some figures, when you are starting out a business may seem unrealistic. They may seem too high, too scary, not attainable. ❌

But when you break them down - they are. ✅

I was speaking to a client last weekend, and she was saying she was really worried her new startup wouldn't allow her to make the kind of money she wanted to help her support her family.

She needs less than 5k a month.

I told her that there are 8 billion people in the world. And if she could get just SIX of those people to pay her a monthly fee of between £2k - £2.5k, she's already on three times what she needs.

£2,500, over 6 clients is £15k a month.

That's less than 0.01% of the population.

Believe in yourself, and work everything backwards. Reverse engineering what you need will help you see how achievable your goals truly are.

There are so many reasons you will tell yourself not to - but if you ask anybody that already has, they will say they wished they did it sooner.

When we were setting up our business, we had a newborn baby, plus our (at the time) 6 year old. We had a house to pay for, bills to pay, and everything else that comes with it.

We gave up our guaranteed income - all of it 😱

But we have never missed a bill.

We have scaled to the point we have an office, regular clients, and good results behind our brand.

People said things like

When you are looking for a website designer, what should you look for? 🤔

Good question!

👉Firstly, and most importantly, you want a designer that understands your brand, and the message you wish to portray.

👉Then, you want someone who will give you ongoing support. You don't want a great website with no help when you want to change things, or expand it!

👉You want someone that remains in contact throughout the process. There's nothing worse than being left in the dark!

👉You want someone that will build what YOU want. Too many designers will do what they want and not stick 100% to your brief.

👉You want someone that doesn't offer a one size fits all solution. You don't always want a Wordpress, Shopify or Magento site building. Worse still, why would you need to? All the weight of a CMS on your server - for what? Ease of the developer?

When searching for someone to work on your existing site, or build you a new one, take these into consideration.

Also consider there are many DIY options available. Wix is an example. Whilst your options are limited, it does help you keep the costs down in the beginning!

It's important to do things that make you happy.

For our family, it's getting in the water and having fun! (amongst other things of course)...

You'll be amazed what being yourself, and enjoying yourself does for you.
