College Update : LEVEL 3 MEDIA YR 1 Completed!

This year went so quick! I can't believe I only have one more year until i have officially finshed with college. Today was the leavers ceremony for my college pathway. While I was at the ceremony I received award from my college for "outstanding progress". This took me by surprise! Huge thank you to my college for giving me this award as well as family and friends who have supported me through out my time at the college and I am very looking forward to my final an second year of the course. Good luck to the students who have left the college wish you all well on your new journey's. Roll on Level 3 YR 2 😊

Finally got the chance to use my new wildlife lens at Coombe Abbey. Here some shots I took on my new lens.

College Project - U55 - Graphic narrative production 📸📖

Created my very own comic book 📸📖!

One of my units I've been studying this year in level 3 media is graphic narrative production. This involved me investigating , planning and creating my own comic book. I created my comic book by taking photos of action figures (Iron man and Batman). This is the final and finished product. I have also included each photo I have taken for the comic. Really enjoyed this unit and I'm so glad the comic turned out well. The Link to where I have published the whole comic book is below here ⏬️

New lens! - Sigma 150-600mm

This has been a dream lens to get for my wildife/nature photography. Thank you so much to both my mom and dad for getting this lens as a late 21st birthday present. Looking forward to using this lens and start to improve more on wildife photography 😊📷

New editing/work set up 🖥

Since getting into photography and filmaking, I have always wanted a computer to help me to have a bigger screen to work with. Now, after saving bit moving, I brought a montior , keyboard and desk. I finally got my own set up for editing and for college work.

Lot of snowdrop flowers growing bottom of the garden. While I was down there filming some clips for a college project I thought be best to take some photos of them while they are still there.

Went out yesterday afternoon and took some photos of coventry Christmas market. Not many photos because not been 100% lately but managed to get out for a bit get some good shots.📷🎄

Today I got my BTEC Level 2 creative media production certificates for the qualification I completed in the summer. I am very happy to finally get the certificates for the course.

Today Went out for a Visit to Astley book farm in Bedworth. I especially loved the comic section 😊. I was surprised by the amount of nature surrounded the place which made me gald I brought my camera with me. Here are some photos took both on camera and phone from my vist.

College update (course results):

This morning my results from my BTEC Level 2 Creative Media Production course came through the post. I have been graded with an DM (Distriction Merit)! I'm so pleased I did well on the course and to be graded with Districtions , Merits and one pass on the course units. Thank you to family , friends and people from college for the support with the course I have really appreciate it through the past 2 years. Onto level 3... 😊📸🥳

Meet otis 🐕🐶

On Friday evening we brought home a new member of the family Otis. So far we already seen a lot of his personality in being a very bubbly and full of excitement.

College update:

Officially finshed level 2 media now onto the next chapter in doing level 3 media in September! A lot of hard work but I'm glad i have completed the course. Good luck to the students who have left my college to move onto their new beginnings and been great pleasure to know the new students who have joined this year. Onto level 3 media!🎉

New Camera lens! Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 art series

Been saving up for a new lens for months now so that I can upgrade from 18-55mm kit lens (basic beginner lens you get with a dslr camera like mine) Now I finally got a professional lens to help improve and adance on my photography/filmmaking. Looking forward to taking photos/videos on this lens 😊

New series! There is another tree in my garden with blossoms on this year. It's a malus domestica (apple blossom tree) booming with beautiful pink blossoms. Also manged to capture some blue bells as well.

Being Autistic should not be made to feel ashamed of. There was time in my life where I felt that way but through the years I have learnt there is nothing wrong with me but in fact some people in this world think I should change my ways to fit in with everyone else. People should be more understanding of autism and not try to push away or get an person to hide themselves. So Happy autism awarness day to all people who are Autistic 🧩
