It’s important to know where in Coventry and Warwickshire you can get the right healthcare treatment for your needs and what options are available.
If you need urgent medical attention, but it is not life-threatening, please visit either the Coventry Urgent Treatment Centre on Stoney Stanton Road, the Rugby Urgent Treatment Centre at the Hospital of St Cross (for those aged over five years old) or the Minor Injuries Unit at University Hospital.
If you’re unsure where to go for treatment, ring NHS 111 or visit http://111.nhs.uk for more information.
NHS Coventry & Warwickshire reminds people to order prescriptions by Wednesday 24th August to get them in time for August Bank Holiday. Find out more https://bit.ly/3cafjp5
Chickenpox is going around again! Please remember NOT to give your children nurofen/ibuprofen if you think your child has it.
This type of medicine is an anti-inflammatory. It reacts with the chickenpox making them go deeper into the skin tissue, potentially causing a more severe secondary infection.
Better options:
👶Paracetamol for fever
👶Calamine Lotion for the itch
👶Keep your child hydrated
Always seek medical advice.
It's beginning to look a lot like spring.
We have a new card stand in our Post office section, offering a wider selection of cards.
Open hours over Christmas.
New fragrances from next week.
A reminder that we will be closed on Monday for the bank holiday weekend. We will be open as usual on Saturday morning. Have a lovely weekend.
The cash machine is no longer in use as it will be removed in just over a weeks time. You can still withdraw money from your bank at the post office counter with the exception of the Coventry building society.
A reminder that we will be closed next Monday for May bank holiday.
The lateral flow tests that we stock are for people to keep at home so that they can test on a regular basis. If you have symptoms or suspect that you may have covid you should book a test at the testing centres. No one who thinks that they have covid should be entering the pharmacy. Help us to keep the pharmacy as safe as possible for the staff and the community that uses the pharmacy. Many thanks.
