We're thrilled to announce that tickets for Manon are now available!

Hey everyone!

Our AGM (Annual General Meeting) will be taking place on Monday 20th February (Week 7) at 5pm in FAB1.06. Every member is invited, and it is very important that you all attend. We will be discussing the society activities this year and our plans for the future, as well as electing our next exec!

If you are around next year, please consider applying for an exec role. The exec are the people who run the society and make things happen! No experience is required and it's a really great experience to have! Some exec roles are lower commitment if you're worried about not having enough time. We'd love to have a larger exec next year so the more of you that get involved, the more the society can do!

All members have been emailed a document explaining all of the exec roles available and how to apply. It's really easy to do, so please don't be put off by the process!

At present, the agenda for the AGM is:
1) Recap of the year and finances
2) Exections
3) Term 3 Plans
4) Any other business

If you'd like to add anything to the agenda that you want to talk about, in relation to how the society is run, then please email [email protected] by Saturday 18th February.

You've all been waiting patiently and here it is!! High School Musical: The Opera is NEXT WEEK!! We've all been working super hard on this and can't wait for you to see it! Expect plenty of laughs at this open, not-for-profit, society event, where you'll also get to find out more about OpWa and how to get involved!

We are so excited to present to you… Manon ! An Opera Warwick production, fully performed in English, which will take place in the Warwick Arts Centre in week 9 of term 2.

Our workshop will take place on Monday 10th of October, from 5 to 7pm in Avon Drama Studio. Everyone showing up to this workshop will be part of the chorus so come along and have fun, you don’t need to have any classical training to be part of Manon !

Auditions for the soloists will be later during week 2 so keep your eyes peeled on our Instagram 👀

What time is it? 🎵 High School Musical: The Opera: The Workshop will be in LIB2 on Monday evening! Come along to find out more about this hilarious Term 1 production and how you can be involved!

The deets: Attendance is compulsory if you'd like to be in the show. Everyone who attends will be offered a role. You'll get a chance to meet the director one-on-one and chat about what kind of role you'd be interested in. You can sing a little something to demonstrate your voice, but honestly no pressure!!

Welcome Week is upon us! Here's what you need to know about our activities for the week beginning 26th September. Events are open to members both old and new; we'd love to see as many of you there as possible!

Next up, we want to introduce Han, our fantastic music director! 🎼 You'll get to work with him a lot when rehearsing our shows, and if you ever need an accompanist, he's your man! (don't tell him I volunteered him)
