What a week it's been for Elon 😅

From a complete name change, police intervention and a new logo, it's been quite the week for the billionaire!

We believe every brand needs to evolve over time, and it makes sense with Elon wanting to take the platform to the next level. However, Twitter has been such an iconic brand since its creation that we can't help but feel that it's a bit of a risky move...

The platform will now become more than just a social media platform, with plans to “add comprehensive communications and the ability to conduct your entire financial world.”

10 Million sign ups 🤯

Within just seven hours of its launch, Threads has attracted at least 10 million sign ups, including a growing number of celebrities, including Jennifer Lopez, Shakira, Gordon Ramsay, and Coldplay!

The text-based social media platform is the latest to rival social-media giant Twitter, and while most features mimic those of Twitter, its user interface design resembles Instagram’s, with the same heart, comment, and share buttons and similarly placed tabs.

We have adopted it for our weekly brainstorming sessions! It's a simple, brainstorming process to generate new products or solutions to problems. It includes the following three stages:

The Dreamer - This is where we go wild with ideas, no idea is too big! 💭
The Realist - This is where we take the best ideas and try to make them a reality! 💡
The Critic - This is where we analyse and pick apart the idea to see what risks there could be! 🤔

It made our sessions so much more fun, creative, and it made us think differently about the full process!

'It's basically software which is subscription-based and served from a central location, rather than purchase and download.'

'Software as a service can be a website. Wix and Squarespace are SaaS models. This is a concept we apply to our entry level website projects so there is no up-front investment.'
