The weeds messed with the wrong person...
A great memory from 2018, teaching some very talented students in a beautiful dojo
Sifu Mauro Gibin explained to the students about bridging on the outside and the inside.
Since returning from my trip I've been investing more time in myself and I can already feel it paying off.
I always recommend to my students even if you only have 5 minutes spare a day to train then use it, something is better than nothing and it will pay off over time.
When you train it's 's important to train with intention and not just do the movements, give yourself a few things to focus on, keep focusing on these things throughout your training and with consistent training you will feel the benefit.
Thank you, Sifu Mauro Gibin for your knowledge and this amazing picture ๐

Where did the weekend go? It flew by! I feel like I only arrived yesterday, yet I'm sat at the airport waiting for my plane to head home.
I went through my gallery and here is a few more memories from my time spent with and my kung fu brother Ian
There will be another post soon with a few more moments that were captured.
Now to digest all the knowledge that Sifu shared with all and then onto the cultivation.
See you again very soon, Italy ๐ฎ๐น
We landed in Loano late last night.
It was great to spend the day with Sihing Ian from and
Lots of cultivation, great food in great company ๐
Now to get some rest before day 2 ๐๐ป
What a weekend!! On Saturday, we studied Taijiquan for 6 hours, and then on Sunday, we attended a 4 hour seminar and then a 3 hour private session focusing on Wing Chun.
A few of my students met the kung fu family, and they all had a great time! I know this will be the topic of conversation in class this week ๐
Here's to the future!
Paul has been working on the farm 5 days a week for a little while now and the work he does has meant that we've been able to produce a lot of fruit and vegetables.
On top of that we have a few volunteers, including myself (Paul Allen) we're always looking for more like minded individuals to join the team.
I'll share a few images that show some of the stuff we still have growing at the moment in the poly tunnel and the carrots that were just harvested.
In 1 picture it shows some of the garlic we're growing and there is more than you can see as it's in a few different beds but there is 154 garlic growing!
We harvested some leeks, carrots, potatoes and Vik made us a delicious leek, carrot and potato soup. Unfortunately, there is no picture of this soup we didn't wait tucked straight in
We've harvested our 1st lot of potatoes! We've only harvested half of the rows!
Do you think this will last us a while? ๐
What is one benefit you have experienced from studying Martial Arts?

Yesterday was an amazing day, Sifu was sharing so many golden nuggets, bringing all students to the next level. My students after were talking about how much they loved the seminar. It's always nice when you get to meet the extended family while seeing your Sifu and sharing the experience with your students. Now we head home to cultivate everything we learnt. See you again soon, Sifu ๐๐ป
Yesterday was the 1st Certified Instructor Training seminar of 2023! What an amazing day it was! As always, brings his A game, sharing lots of detail with us to help us on our journey, Sifu makes the detail very clear so that we have a clear understanding of how to practice what we have learnt and also it helps us when we pass this knowledge on to our students.
See everyone again later on today!
Really looking forward to seeing my Sifu, Sifu Sergio and the UK instructors this Friday at the C.I.T and the rest of the kung fu family on Saturday at the seminar ๐๐ป

Here are a few more pictures of the work we're doing. The plot had to be worked on a few times, and it's finally ready for us to start planting.
We had our 1st harvest from the polytunnel, which was spinach, kale, and rainbow chard.
The community is growing from children aged 11+ and the oldest member is 83 years young.
Now is a great time to learn how to be more self-sufficient with the stores struggling as they're constantly out of lots of vegetables.
I'll share more next week ๐
Happy international women day
6 weeks ago me and my Kung fu brothers and sister started a new project we are growing our own fruit and vegetables the photo's I have shared are from the 1st week where I was starting to prepare the 1st plot which I have been over a few times now. Anyone who contributes to the process will be sharing what we harvest, and the rest will be going to food banks.
We will be growing potatoes, onions, peas, sweetcorn, squash, lettuce, spinach, radish, leeks, broccoli, kale, olives, figs, garlic, rasberries, blackberries, blueberries, lemons, oranges, limes, cantaloupe and many different herbs. Who knows what else we may grow.
