Vehicle Paint Shop Team Leader

Reporting directly to: UK Operations Director
Hours: 07.00 – 15.30 Mon to Fri (30 Mins Lunch)
Salary: £30,000 - £50,000 plus uncapped bonus, dependent on skills and qualifications
28 days Holiday Per Annum including BH

Job Description:
Workshops Team Leader
• Liaise daily with the various customer operational roles:
o Workshop team leaders
o Technical managers
o Stores
o H&S
o Any other as required

• To support our Workshop Supervisors in the day to day running of the workshops:
o Upgrading vehicles
o Parts discrepancies
o Stores/ consumables
o QC Fails & General quality
o General communication with the customer
o Any other reasonable request
Health & Safety
• Daily checks
• Reporting (Defects/ Checks etc)
• House keeping
• Training records
• Equipment checks
• Attend H&S as and when required
• Tool box talks
• Any other reasonable request

BestStaff are recruiting for the position of an Administrator. This role will be based at our Head Office, however, you will be required to work from our customers sites on occasion. Accuracy & attention to detail will be key to succeeding in this role as the data you process will have a financial impact on the business. The sector for the role is within Automotive industry, so some basic knowledge of cars would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided.
The Role:
This role includes the following duties, but is not exhaustive:
- Check individual Job Card Invoices to ensure costs are correct on the IT reporting system
- Communicate directly with the customer to amend any errors found when processing Job Card Invoices
- Record all identified discrepancies and calculate costs recovered (Excel)
- Compile daily efficiency reports and forward these to the Account Manager (Excel)
- Report to the Office Manager all potential lost revenue (Excel)
- You will be expected to always maintain customer confidentiality
- Be flexible to support Office Manager/ Customer requests as necessary
The Person:
- A full driving License and own car is essential for this role
- This is a customer facing role so a smart appearance will be required at all times
- You will need excellent communication skills and have the ability to communicate with customers at all levels
- Efficiency will be essential as numerous processes are Time Critical and are not negotiable
- You must be able to able to follow simple tasks in an efficient manner
- You must be comfortable working remotely and sharing work areas with Customer staff
- Knowledge or an interest in cars would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided
Essential Skills & Requirements:
Previous experience of using Microsoft Excel is essential
- Email proficiency
- Telephone & Email manners
- Good at Math & English
- Have a very high level of attention to detail
- Be calm when under pressure and be patient with others
- Be able to problem solve independently
- You must be able to speak/ read fluent English and Polish would be an advantage
