We started off with a technical seminar hosted by Professor Pindi. Learning some techniques & concepts from Spider Guard 🔥

We wrapped up with some well deserved stripes and some hard earned Juniors, Teens and Adult Belt Promotions! We are proud of you all! 👏🏼

Extremely proud of Bayleigh today, she had to dig deep and fight her heart out which she did and get the decision at the end of a 5 round war with the very talented Lottie from Thaitans Gym 🙏🏼👏🙌🏼
We then had CJ warming up for his fight and looking sharp but his opponent had to pull out whilst warming up due to being sick whilst warming up 🙌🏼
These things happen in the sport and the main thing is the health & safety of he fighters and we all at Team WTA wish that James from Suua recovers well. Wishing you a speedy recovery bud 🙌🏼🙏🏼
Finally we had Josh out whos fight unfortunately didn’t go his way today. So proud of him stepping in there and going up 3 weight divisions for this fight, well done brother. The whole of Warriors are so proud of you for stepping up and stepping in there and going for it. We got to see a glimpse of what you have in store for the big one in Sept 🔥🔥🔥

An incredible achievement this weekend for Coach Pindi, who was promoted to Black Belt by his Professor Braulio Estima. It has been a journey of 19 years for Pindi who started with Professor Braulio & Victor Estima in 2005 at Stevie B’s in Acocks Green for his first No GI class.

The guidance and mentorship of the Gracie Barra Team has had on Pindi has led him too strive to believe and achieve one of his highest awards to date.

The journey now continues, everyone has a story.
We look forward to seeing all our training partners at the Academy on the mats to train and share the knowledge together.
