Our MBA students recently enjoyed an enriching week in Vancouver, as part of the Business and Sustainability module, in collaboration with UBC Sauder School of Business. 🌍📚

This module, part of our decade-long partnership, offered valuable insights into sustainability and leadership. Highlights included engaging talks from industry experts and First Nations representatives, and visits to the Museum of Anthropology, Stanley Park Talasay Talking Trees, the Sea to Sky Gondola etc...

From flying to China on a placement, to staying for 12 years, starting a family and becoming managing director of the British Chamber of Commerce in China... this is the exact journey of MSc Marketing & Strategy alum Steven Lynch.

Steven received an MBE in the New Year's Honours List for his services to the British business community in China, receiving the award from the Princess Royal in March.

“Growing up I did not imagine I would take the path I did,” he comments. “I went to China not knowing what jobs I would like or not like and realised that leadership skills were important to me throughout my career and life. It has become a personal and professional passion.”
