We are looking for an enthusiastic and talented person to join the Fairhaven H&V Services Ltd team in the role of Tech Support & Commissioning Engineer.

The role requires someone with an analytical mind and a logical, organised approach to their work. A sound understanding of hashtag systems and hashtag would be beneficial. Experience of ventilation systems is desirable, but not essential.

As Christmas approaches, once again we have chosen to donate to some worthwhile local charities in lieu of customer gifts. This year our chosen charities are NI, and animal rescue. These organisations have special significance to members of our team, and we are delighted to be able to support them in this way.

We would like to belatedly welcome our newest member of the team, Cameron Salt. Cameron joined us in May as our van driver and stores assistant. He has settled in well to the job, and recently completed his 3-day forklift training.

Special Christmas wishes to Charlie Mooney, our well known and respected storeman & delivery driver who retired today after 9 years of hard graft. According to his rough calculations Charlie has delivered more than 10,000 orders and racked up over 200,000 miles around the roads of our wee island, so he has definitely earned a break!!

Well, what a year it has been! We've all been on an unexpected journey this past 10 months, and if nothing else it has highlighted just how little we can all take for granted, but also how much we have to be thankful for. As the year draws to a close we would of course like to thank all of our valued customers for their business, and we would also like to take a moment to encourage everyone to think of those less fortunate than us over the festive season.

Impressed by the quality of construction of this little 200dia ATEX rated centrifugal blower on its way out to a local manufacturing company for their paint mixing LEV system. Fairhaven are now supplying the full range of commercial and industrial fans by Sodeca, in addtion to existing ranges by S&P, Vortice & Victoria Fans.

Customers and staff of Fairhaven enjoyed an evening of electric motocross action last night at E-Trax NI, followed by some food and refreshments at Pretty Marys Bar Foodhouse.

Great turnout yesterday for our first CIBSE NI technical seminar, presented by Scott Paton of Monodraught Ltd. The seminar was on ventilation for schools, and focused on the updated BB101:2018 guidelines and hybrid ventilation solutions. Thanks to Keith Elliott & Tom Woods for organising the event, to Scott for making the trip over to Belfast, and to all those who took time out of their day to attend! New Mandik supply AHU and extract fans handling approx 10m3/s commissioned this week.

First day commissioning this top spec Mandik AHU we recently supplied for a high care packing area in a food processing facility. Full stainless steel (304) internal panels (inc cooling coil), 7.5 m3/sec, Ziehl Abegg plug fans, factory wired lighting, mixing box with Belimo modulating actuators and powder coated externals.

Interesting couple of days spent at Mostra Covegno Expocomfort in Milan, catching up with latest developments at Mandik, S&P and other manufacturers. The scale of Fieramilano exhibition centre is mindblowing!
