Running in, I found her on the floor. In a blind frenzy, I had no idea what to do.

Then I remembered Centra do an all-day breakfast for £3.99.

Stop phoning and messaging asking for an update!!! Let me do it!!!

On certain repairs there is a lead time, this is perhaps because that repair isn't done in house or parts have to come from continental Europe or even China.

Constantly phoning me asking for an update.
If there was an update you would know, asking constantly does not quicken the process, it only delays it.

If it was fixed I would have been in contact with you so you are only wasting both yours and my time.

That time is time that I can use to fix other devices, stopping to constantly take that phone call or answering the same question delays your repair as well as others.

From now on there will be a 3 strikes rules, you contact me 3 times asking for an update (for some people this will be within an hour 😅) and your phone will NOT be getting repaired by me.

Now, back to the screwdrivers and provide the best repair service locally. 💪💪💪

Patience is a virtue.

As you all know by now I carry out a lot of repairs while you wait. Those slots fill up quickly which is why I have my drop off point service (details are in my auto reply, be sure to read instructions).

There are a lot of repairs where it simply isn't possible to carry it out "while you wait". I get a lot of questions asking why not??? Those asking simply don't understand why but I will try to explain...

What you see pictured here is the outer OLED screen on a Samsung Galaxy Flip 5 being removed carefully earlier today. To remove this I have to be patient as one wrong move and it has just cost me more than £70!

That's actually a cheap one! Yes OLED screens are expensive, especially when they're only genuine parts like I fit. (Don't waste your time on fitting anything else).

Of course I can make it a while you wait repair if I just rip it off and the customer wants to pay that £70 extra for a replacement but my personal research has shown the chances of this happening are exactly 0.000000000000001%...

So next time you wonder why it can't be done while you wait please remember it's for YOUR benefit. 😉

Another phone repaired that the customer was told elsewhere locally couldn't be fixed. 🙄🙄🙄

Recently I have kept a count of how many FREE repairs I've done because the fix was simple and all I asked for was a review instead of payment. From the start of June it's currently at 43 and guess how many actually have done?

Only one! It's rather disappointing when I have helped someone out and ask for something that will take 30 seconds and they can't take the time to do so when I gave them my time for free.

At this stage I cannot guarantee any devices left in for screen repair (except iPhones and iPads) will be ready in time as I can't guarantee the part will be delivered on time.

Now I know, I know, you guys know I harp on about different quality screen repairs. 😆

But here is a prime example of why you DON'T go down that route and going cheap means it'll cost MORE!

This screen was broken when on the North Coast and taken to a shop and a cheap screen fitted. All well and good until said screen stopped working a few days later...🤬

Yes, after paying for a shoddy quality repair it stopped working because the cheap screen caused damage to the board itself. 😭

Board repair carried out which has cost £110 plus the cost of the correct quality screen fitted on top. Not to mention this person is sadly out the money of the useless screen that was fitted before.😬

I'll let you do the sums, cheap repair or correct type repair? I know which one is cheaper in the long run!🤫

You pay hundreds of pounds for the device in your pocket, why oh why would you cheap out on fixing it‽ It's mind boggling.🤯🤯

Sadly this is happening more and more often simply because many repair shops don't take pride in their work. I will say not everywhere is like that luckily but if it's cheap it's cheap for a reason and that reason is it's absolutely trash being fitted to the phone that'll cause heartache.
