'Pangea Green' Defender 110 Detailed

These take a while 🫣🤣 Full safe wash and decontamination, machine polished, No1 coating applied to the body amd trims. Glass machined and Glass Act applied. Wheels had Synergy Revolution applied. Once the interior had its deep clean, it was finished off with .therapy.channel Leather Protect.

Had this absolute stunner in for an enhancement detail, wheels off detailing work, and an underside clean. The paintwork was in great condition, so the enhancement detail was perfect for this.

Finished it off with a sealant and wiped down with Hybrid.

What a vibrant colour 😍 we carried out an Enhancement detail, soft top clean, and a light interior clean. Finished off with Defender and ready for some summer fun!

Chris was a natural on the polishers and we had a great day all around!

💙Ford Puma ST💙

New car package, first off a full safe wash and decontamination. We then polished and coated the paintwork with finished off with Ballistic Gold label ceramic coating.

We also coated the glass, wheels, and callipers. To round it out an interior clean.

The dealership had decided to cover the plastics and some of the leather with silicone spray. Although this makes them all shiny (which clean plastic or leather shouldn't be), it also makes for a total dust magnet, greasy to the touch, and generally not nice.

We got a ramp 🫶

Great weekend at Dubshed on the Mynt Automotive stand. I got to know Aaron, who owns Mynt through detailing, and because of this, we got to become good friends. It's amazing to get down and help him at Dubshed once again this year and show support for a friends brand, I know how hard it is to build one!

Thanks to everyone who dropped by to say hello and talk all things detailing. I love this industry I'm in and the people I get to meet and the places I get to go.

Every year, I say it won't be madness before it. Truth be told, though, I love it 😂🫣

Most people never really get why I say a new car needs polished. Here's a good example from the RR Autobiography we done at the weekend.

Front of the bonnet, big old scratch. When or where did this happen? Maybe leaving the factory, maybe in the delivery process, maybe when it arrived at the dealership and they washed it prior to collection.

So, can I apply a coating to a new car without polishing. I could, but I never will. Its not how things are done properly. If I wash and decontaminate the vehicle there's every possibility a clay bar may induce marring to the paintwork, especially on softer paints.

So polishing a new vehicle or any vehicle prior to coating is probably the most vital step. It improves the look of the paintwork, even new vehicles. It cleanses the paintwork of anything that might not have been removed during the wash stages. This means when you finally panel wipe and apply the ceramic coating it has the absolute best chance of lasting for its full length of time, whether it's a 1-5 year coating.

Mercedes CLE new car detail.

In for a new car detail, although new it still had some swirls from the dealer and deep scratches on the bootlid which were all rectified prior to application of Infinity Wax Synergy 5.

Mesmerising finish delivered as always 🤌

Minor Paint correction using followed up with Synergy 3 ceramic coating. Wheels and glass were also sealed before finishing off with an interior detail.

This colour is absolutely sublime. All the detailing lights I own did it no justice, but when the sun hits it, it is absolutely spectacular.

Tiguan looking SENSATIONAL!

Dolphin Grey metallic in colour, we carried out a minor paint correction package on this before lathering it up in Ballistic gold label to see it right for the next few years.

Where to start, this got such an extensive detailing package I'll likely forget something!

✔️Single stage machine polish before applying Defender

✔️Headlight Restoration

✔️Hubs refinished

✔️New wheel bolts due to old ones being a safety concern, while wheels were off we also fitted a new headlight level sensor

✔️Inside got a full deep clean with some light mould removal. We also carefully stripped the heater controls out and replaced the temperature and fan switches that had paint coming off them.

✔️All parts replaced were replaced with genuine Porsche bits to retain originality
