We are now hiring for a full time member of staff to start with us asap. This person needs to be able to commit to regular shifts during the week and on Saturdays. Today we wave goodbye to our beloved Ivanka... For those of you who don't know Ivanka she has been with us since 2022 when her world was turned upside down and she fled Ukraine with her two children and started a new life here in the Uk. She left everything she knew behind, a career, friends, family everything she had ever known all to protect her children and give them a chance of a better life. We got to know Ivanka through her delicious cakes that she baked for the cafe, which some of you may have been lucky enough to taste! She then quickly became a fully fledged member of the team and has worked with us ever since. Returning home when she can juggling family life, learning a new language and making sure her children were happy and getting an education.

The time has now come for her to return home to her family and we want to wish Ivanka all the best and we will hold her and her family in our prayers everyday. We hope one day soon Ukraine will be at peace again and all will be well. We are saddened to see her go but happy that she will be reunited with her family! Goodbye for now Ivanka! We will miss you greatly, our home will always be your home should you wish to return! ❤️🇺🇦

This is Ellie she has recently stepped into the shoes of shop manager and has taken it all in her stride. She is responsible for making sure the shop runs like clockwork while boss Amber is away. If you haven't met her yet say hi next time your in the shop she's looking forward to getting to know all of you more!

Yesterday we waved goodbye to our beloved Loucka who has been with us on and off since we opened the shop nearly 6 years ago! He is off on his travels to Australia and we will miss him deeply! It’s been such a pleasure having him back with us, if you’ve had an insanely good looking coffee at the shop recently that was probably down to him! Good luck Loucka and we hope to see you again soon one day! 🙌🏻🫶🏽

Hope you guys have been enjoying this funny little period between Christmas and New Year some like to call Twixmas! It's been lovely seeing you all back in the shop.
