Mid Devon RC Raceway

Hi all, here's the dates.

Moaning post I'm afraid.

Someone who pitted near the goal has spilt a serious amount of super glue on the floor.

This is not acceptable, and we are running the risk of losing this venue for next year at the moment.

Would be nice if someone were to own up as you must be aware it was done.

Massive thanks to Liam Galvin and Al Stocks for taking their time and using their own glue solvent to clean it up to a acceptable standard.

Current entries are looking fairly low for next Sunday, so please book in if you haven't already!

We currently only have 1 truck booked in and need 4 for a heat. We are fine for Vintage but 4WD is boarderline.

A few people mentioned to us there may be some interest in doing a team endurance event like Essex carpet clash have been advertising.

If it is something that would be of interest to you guys please comment and let us know.

No rules or format in mind yet would be similar to Essex with limited tyres.

Doors will be open at 8.00 please park sensibly as the Waie Inn are re doing some of their carpark so space is at a premium.

Please leave the space to the right or the doors for setup crew/RC octane and disabled parking.

Silicone oils and fluids!

We have had a call from the Waie inn asking why the floor is especially slippery where we pit.

I can only think there is some leakage from a silicone product that has been spilt.

From now on all oils and fluids must be in a sealed tub or container if being bought into the hall, please check your hauler or pit butler for any leaks or residue, please do not put anything that contains oil products directly on the floor.

Please use silicone products with care and keep confined to your table. Any suspect spillages please report as we could be in danger of losing the hall if this happens again.

Entries looking solid for next Sunday, however we do need more 4WD's to make a heat so please book in if you fancy some 4WD action.

Just a quick update to confirm that 2WD is currently fully booked for tomorrow, but we still have spaces in 4WD, Truck and Vintage/Rear Motor.

4WD currently has 4, so as long as everyone turns up we will run a heat however if anyone else wants to run 4WD, please book in!

Thanks to everyone who helped setup and pack away at any point in the season and to everyone who attended this season.

Tomorrow's track, big thanks to always to the setup crew who worked hard as always to get it done.

Practice will be slightly shorter than usual as we have lots of heats to get through and we have a hard finish time from the Waie Inn tomorrow.

Drivers briefing will be at 8.50 first race on line at 9.00 we will be running on fully automatic timing tomorrow so please make sure you are ready for your heats.

Less than a week until our final meeting of the season. Numbers aint looking great at the moment so please book in asap if you're coming but havent booked in yet.

We currently only have a few booked in for 4WD, Trucks and Micro's (not enough to run a heat currently) so please book in, or worst case, happy to combine into one mixed class heat if needed.
