Liam Fearn Building & Maintenance
We're a small family run construction company with big goals. There is no job too big or too small!
We cover most aspects of the building trade including Renovations, Conversions, Extensions, Landscaping, Kitchen and Bathrooms, and many more!
This weekend we are celebrating mine and Emily’s wedding. Any/all messages and emails will responded to after the weekend!
The Van has finally had its sign writing down by Neil from Graphic Edge in Sheringham. Was originally booked in for June but have just been too busy to be without the van for the day. But managed to get a bit of time and got it done. The whole process and service was brilliant and can’t thank and recommend them enough!
Personally I think it looks great, I was after something that stood out but also looked as subtle and professional as can be and this is what Neil came up with.
Our project made it onto the front page of EDP homes!! Great read on the house and photos inside aswell. It’s a great feeling knowing all of my and my teams work is being published in this way for many people to see! All of the hard work and hours we out into our projects makes it all worth while when you receive reviews and credit like this! 🙌🙌🙌
Some pictures of other jobs being completed recently. Small bathroom and kitchen in a log cabin, and 1 of 4 bathrooms done in travertine a natural stone tile.
Been quiet on here recently due to being extremely busy and getting jobs finished.
However I am glad to be able to share photos of our overstrand project finished and professionally photographed by the owner Sam Barker! After a year of exhausting effort and attention to detail. I can’t thank my team and my fellow tradesmen/subcontractors enough for the effort they put have put in aswell.

Welcome to Norfolk’s Palm Springs!
So we’re currently a year into this project and finally coming to the end! You know you’ve been on a job a long time when you iPhone labels it as “HOME”!
The landscaping is well underway with the shingle being moved into place (all 17 tons of it) the Siberian larch decking has been started with the continuation of the joints from the cladding right through the decking to keep the lines flowing! Also some iron planters made and installed which will slowly rust and turn a lovely burnt orange colour! Sam and Kate have also managed to source and plant some palm trees and other greenery!
I am genuinely so proud of myself and my team Jacob Farrow, Paul (the stone master), Liam Sterne electrician, Plush Tiling for all the hard work on this project and am truely humbled to have been able to be apart of it!
Landscaping work is well underway. Completion of the project in the next few weeks!
Some more pictures of the job. Finishing touches to be done still but 99% complete! Over the moon with the finish/quality of the work. Top work and effort from the team! 👊👊🤩🤩
Little update on what’s been going on lately. It’s been a horrendously busy time for me team the last couple of months but we’re so close to finally finish the interior on this project. It’s been our biggest project to date and have loved doing all the different elements of the renovation! Wood panelling corridor is finished (some new photos of the finished article to come soon) main bathroom (green tiles) is finished bar a shower screen which is delayed in delivery! And the en-suite is just about there with Darren finishing the sealant work tomorrow! (Again new pictures to come soon!
For enquiries for jobs big or small get in touch as the diary is getting booked up!
👊👊
What a transformation of this 1970’s bungalow is so far. On the final stretch inside and then it’s onto the landscaping and finishing touches on the outside.
Merry Christmas Everybody! Hope you’re all having a great day! Sadly no gavin and Stacey special this year!
The front of the project is really close to being finished. Unfortunately not in time for Xmas but will be finished in the new year.
The kitchen side of the fire place has been cladded. Stone work really is difficult to make look good, but this really is a work of art!
What working long days and weekends looks like! ft Jacob Farrow
Maybe he’s trying to catch a sun tan in December? Or maybe it’s just that feeling of getting one side of the roof tiles!
Been a while since our last post due to being extremely busy working long days and weekends to push this project along. A lot has happened over the last month with the stone cladding outside has been moving along when the weather has allowed us. The plastering has been done throughout the build by the brilliant “Ben Sharman Plastering” tiling inside on one of the bathrooms has started. re roofing the bungalow has almost been done, this was not on the original plan but due to rotten timbers on the Gable ends and transferring into most of the roof battens it was needed! Cork flooring through out the build has been laid. And the kitchen units are in place. Fair to say the team is knackered at the moment! 💤💤💤 But finding messages from the clients/owners of the bungalow in your note book make it all worth while! 🙌🙌🙌
Cladding has been started round the back, stone cladding has also been started with the first pillar done! Interior work has hit a big stage of the project with the plaster boarding being started to get ready for Ben Sharman plastering to come in and do what he does best! Excited to finally start putting this project back together after all the demolition and building work.
The cladding has been started! We’re using Siberian Larch cladding, it’s being installed on the front and back of the property with the front facias and soffits being done aswell. Some roof repairs to do next week and we can continue with the cladding. New windows have been fitted and 1st fix electrics have been aswell by our local electrician Liam Sterne.
Block work is finally finished after a delay in the supply of the steels for the bifold doors. Floor insulation is all down ready for the screed to go down. Roof ready to be fibreglassed. Windows being fitted soon, electrician in next week to start first fix. This project is really going to start transforming in the next few weeks! Watch this space!
The smallest recruits testing out the new uniform 🤣🤣🥰 Lola & Baby Frankie
The roof is almost ready for fibreglassing! Trims and bandaging the board joists along with facias going on. Soon be water tight! 🥳🥳🙌🙌
I don’t even stop while on holiday!!! Fitting a tiny kitchen in a holiday let while away in Yorkshire with the family. The lads have held the fort and been busy on the overstrand project in the meantime. Paintable units from Howdens with solid oak worktops with a breakfast bar under the wall opening.
Another big moment has been started this week on the overstrand project! The roof timbers have started going on! Love it when the roof starts to go on as it really starts to take shape from there!
Block work has started on the bungalow renovation. Just the internal walls up so far due to a bit of a shortage of the blue engineering bricks. They’re due in next week so should be able to crack on with the external brickwork. Even got the labourers have a little go on the trowel this week, I think it’s important to get them involved to learn as much as possible while they can.
Big day today from me and the team. The hidden steel which spans the whole width of the property is now installed. The biggest/worst/hardest part of the job done with! Can sleep easier at night now! Plain sailing from here onwards.. 🤞🤞🤞 some pictures of the steel installation process plus a selfie of Jacob… 😂😂
