Happy 39th birthday to Virgin Atlantic having departed from Gatwick to Newark all those years ago! VIR Virtual staff; CEO, COO & Head of Pilot Training are flying Virgin Atlantic today to the Caribbean and Las Vegas in celebration! Wherever you’re flying to and whoever you are flying with today, have a spectacularly wonderful flight.

Our pilots have been flying all over the world this weekend, from the US to South America, to Japan and Australia. Even the Virgin Atlantic A340-600 made an appearance. Wherever you flew this weekend, we hope it was a good'un!

An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone to join the VIRVirtual staff team as a Front-End Developer (this role is voluntary). This is open to all VIRVirtual pilots, current staff of VIRVirtual and externally.

VIRVirtual are looking for an experienced Front-End Developer, who will focus on the creation and delivery of web applications. You will be tasked with designing and coding VIRVirtuals website to fit the virtual airlines specifications and should be proficient in both graphic design and coding.

We are thrilled to announce the launch of our new Twitch and You Tube Channels. Our new resident creator Zdublee launches the Twitch channel live tonight from the USA at 1.30am our time. Zdublee will be regularly streaming for Vir Virtual so if you are up give him a shout and get involved in the chat and support him as he takes his first flight streaming for Vir Virtual. If you can't catch him that late (early), you will be able to watch the full stream on our new You Tube channel at your leisure. We have lots more exciting news to announce shortly so literally stay tuned.

Thank you to all the pilots who took part in supporting Mag Sim TV in raising awareness for the charity Mind. Mag's raised over £1000 for the charity as he flew EGLL - YSSY. Very well done to him, and we can't wait to join him again in the future. Here's some screenshots from the day, which includes a retro Virgin livery.

Vir Virtual delivered Mag Sim TV (G-MSTV) new livery this afternoon ahead of the EGLL - YSSY Charity Flight that Mag Sim has organised in aid of the Charity Mind. The Event takes place Saturday 27th May at 10am (GMT) and will be live on Tik Tok and YouTube. VV HQ has heard from other virtual arlines who have shared their interest in taking part in the event as well.
