At every step of my life, (including my first little ones!) something inside me drove me to do it!
I told myself I could walk and talk.
I guided myself though my earliest years trying to figure things out
I made my choices!
At every stage I figured out how to be around others, who I admired and where I wanted to go.
Some choices were better than others!

I LEARNED FROM MY EXPERIENCES!
There’s nothing wrong with making mistakes, they are all part of learning.
I do know that it’s not right to keep making the same mistakes and that it’s important to learn from my experiences, forgive myself and move on, forge ahead.

I HAVE PATIENCE!
I never give up! To keep going is to keep growing!
Knowledge is limitless and so is life. The Universe will always give you the life you dream of, I just don’t stop dreaming!

In order to get closer to my dream life, I always take action!
Sometimes cautiously, sometimes messily. Rarely perfectly!
But the results have been good enough so far!

5 REASONS WHY I LEFT MY TEACHING JOB!
The most important thing you can do to become successful in anything in life, is to persevere - refuse to give up.
But I gave up teaching!
Wanna know why?

CURRICULUM VS KIDS
The job was not the same as when I started.
I loved the creativity and the fun I used to have with the kids and the parents.
It used to be all about child-centred education!
Kids were important!
Then they imposed the CURRICULUM!!

KIDS GOT IN THE WAY!
Shockingly, having been a teacher for 13 years, I hated now having to focus more on the paperwork than on the children.
And having prescribed lesson plans over interest-driven lesson plans.
The kids got bored and became disruptive!

THE PAY WAS INSULTING!
I had a degree, 13 years’ experience and been promoted to positions of higher responsibility, but I had reached the ceiling of earnings.
My take-home pay was never enough to pay for my home!!
Only good as a second income.

I SIMPLY DIDN’T WANT THAT LIFE!
I had reached a glass ceiling doing a job I didn’t enjoy surrounded by co-workers who could only complain!
I decided there HAD to be a better way!
So I QUIT!!

I FOUND A BETTER WAY
I had a lucky break! I was sent to work with a great Head teacher who told me there would always be a job for me as a teacher and that it really wasn’t that risky to look for a different career!
So I decided to re-invent myself and start my own business!
Thank goodness I did!
