Thanks to the team at Blum UK for hosting a fantastic training day for some of our team. Particular thanks to Dave, who has 20 years experience at Blum, and was kind enough to share some of that knowledge with us through an exciting hands on experience day.

Our customer had very much done her research and had a clear idea of what she wanted to achieve with her new kitchen.

It included warm tones from the timber slab doors which she matched perfectly with the wooden flooring and regiment light green island. The Scandinavian style makes perfect use of simple, yet striking brass fittings that perfectly complement the other colour tones.

As the customers' previous kitchen didn’t have enough storage, extra tall units were paramount and so were included, along with an integrated bin, pull-out mechanisms on either side of the drawers in the island - which was to face out towards the garden and creating an inviting in/out kitchen and garden space.

Belgravia - Parisian Blue and Stone

Belgravia brings both style and substance to your home with a detailed in-frame design and numerous accessories. Featuring an excellent quality painted finish with visible woodgrain, you can combine in any number of colours. If you have a colour in mind, Belgravia offers a colour match service, to really personalise your space.

Clifden - Vintage Pink and Light Grey

Clifden has a smooth, painted finish giving this narrow shaker door a more modern take on the traditional shaker kitchen.

With the smooth finish, it is perfect for a variety of styles and colour schemes.

Kitchen Range: 1909 Shaker (Stone)

The client had done her research and was really interested in 1909 Shaker to complement her beautiful period property.
1909 is a stunning range but emphasises quality joinery which includes solid-topped cabinets but balanced with solid timber in frame doors in a uniquely smooth finish

Keeping with the warm tones opted to go for stone as it's a stunning neutral tone to work with to complement the subtlety of the marbled white quartz worktops. Herringbone flooring only adds to this timeless kitchen.

Aldana - Viridian

Aldana is a stunning ash timber shaker featuring a narrow frame for a more modern look. We love to design kitchens with tall end posts to create a feature of a row of tall units or use tongue and groove panelling for projects where a more traditional feel would suit better.

Kitchen Range: Newmarket Indigo & To***co Halifax Oak (back of island)

Anusha had a strong design concept for what she wanted to achieve, Dark indigo shaker doors to contrast against the strong warm toned veining of the worktop.

This contrasts with the natural earthy tones of the wooden components such as the shelf, back of the island, and the flooring to tie it all in.

To complement the tones of the kitchen she also went with Brass knurled handles by Dowsing and Reynolds.

Functionality was paramount along with the aesthetics of this kitchen, Dovetail drawers and pull-outs where needed to ensure ease of access.

Winslow - Parisian Blue

A truly unique and traditional kitchen range features a mock in-frame aesthetics by using a beading detail on the lay-on door. Winslow comes with the options of Georgian panelled glass, Edwardian carved frame doors or a simpler plain glass door to really amp up your space.

Tongue & groove panels also add to the classical look with the option to add a wide range of made-to-order accessories.

A modern, minimalist design; our German-inspired handleless rail kitchen is on display with a brass rail profile and a combination of matt graphite, woodgrain, and concrete doors.

The Dekton Trilliium worksurfaces features a 60mm build up to give a solid, industrial feel.

Finally, Neff built-in appliances and a Quooker Flex hot tap to finish things off.

Aesthetics were really important for this kitchen project, but the functionality was paramount. The vision for the kitchen was to maximise storage and bring in different textures and tones, creating a modern yet warm kitchen design.

This project was a bespoke design for the customer, who was a dream to work with, having great ideas and attention to detail. Egger materials were used for the cabinet and kitchen doors, alongside Bosch built-in appliances.

A traditional shaker with a twist; smooth, thin rails gives a more modern feel to this classic shaker.

This Hunton kitchen range is on display in Hartforth Blue and Porcelain; working well with Icey White vein quartz worksurfaces. Bosch built-in appliances, and Blanco sink/tap combo to finish the kitchen off perfectly.
