🎣 What a fantastic FISHING Day by the lake! ❇️

The event kicked off with a warm Sunday WELCOME at Travelodge Andover, followed by an evening meal that set the tone for the EXCITING day ahead.

The next morning, we started with bacon rolls and tea, FUELING us for a day of fly fishing and fun. We enjoyed a little friendly COMPETITION while everyone soaked in the serene beauty of Testside Lake.

CONGRATULATIONS to Stephen Edge, who came out on TOP with three impressive catches! 🏆

A special thank you to Greyhound for supplying a great BBQ lunch!

The entire experience was a PERFECT blend of relaxation and fun, making it a day to REMEMBER.

It was a great day out at the Forest of Arden in Warwickshire, with everyone enjoying the beautiful weather and the stunning views.

The day started with a delicious breakfast, followed by a round of golf on the championship course. There were plenty of opportunities to network and socialise with other attendees, as well as to enjoy some friendly competition on the course.

After the golfing was over, we all gathered for a delicious lunch and awards ceremony, where we presented prizes to the top golfers of the day. A massive congratulations to Richard Hughes from Green Elevators for winning.

Overall, it was a fantastic event, and we would like to thank all of our customers and employees who attended.

Friday 9th June saw Lester Controls host our Midlands golf day at the Forest of Arden in Warwickshire.

The course, weather and views were excellent.

All attendees enjoyed breakfast, 18 holes on the championship Arden Course followed by presentations and evening meal.

Congratulations to Richard Hughes from Green Elevators for winning.

Overall, it was a fantastic event, and we would like to thank all of our customers and employees who attended.

A few years ago, we made the decision to change our approach towards customer Christmas gifts and instead, use that money on various charities which are meaningful to us in some way, shape or form.

Over the years of charitable support we have given, some of which has not been financial, we have had many thank yous for the various, all of which we are very proud of.

One charity in particular, that was very close in our thoughts prior to Christmas was MND, the Motor Neuron Disorder Association. Alas and tragically, a family member of one of our Directors lost her battle with the disease a few years ago, which is why this charity is so important to us.

Along with the many other charity thank you letters we received in January, a thank you letter arrived from MND who said, ‘Thank you so much, this will make such a difference to help the Association improve the lives of people with MND’.

Some years back, Stuart Davidson, when speaking with a colleague about the Freewheelers Theatre & Media Company, said ‘there but for the grace of God go I’. How true.

Other charities that we donated to, instead of giving Christmas gifts, include the Catholic Agency for Overseas Development, Great Ormond Street Hospital, MIND, the British Heart Foundation and Freewheelers Theatre & Media, an inclusive arts company for people with disabilities.

Light Curtain Safety Edge MB-194 The Light Curtain MB-194 is a very robust, compact and reliable Safety Edge. The safety edge uses 194 infrared effective beams with a detection height between 11.5mm to 1883.5mm. This safety edge supersedes the previous Weco Infrared Door Detector WECO B174 model.

Built in the 1980s, back when legwarmers were still in style, 10 Queen Street Place is a premium five-storey commercial building close to Southwark Bridge, London. With 2,000m² of roof terrace providing outstanding views over the river Thames, it has recently received a BREEAM Very Good rating.

Lester Controls were asked to provide a controller solution for a KONE MonoSpace four-car group performing at 1.6m/s, serving 5 stops (Ground-to-4), with panoramic glass lift cars enclosed in glass shafts.

Working with their customer, we conducted a full technical site survey and measured the existing landing MMI station to ensure that the new equipment would be house almost seamlessly into the existing spaces.

Ultimately, the client specified a Lester Controls backplate only solution with the main controller components fitted inside the existing enclosures, with HPV 900 Axial Flux inverter drives in a separate shaft mounted enclosure.

The project also included a range of ancillary items, including CEDES APS and limit switch materials, TFT indicators to all landings in bespoke surface mounted stainless-steel housings and car operating panel TFTs, PB4 push buttons for the landings with bespoke pre-wired leads to suit the ‘hidden’ shaft trunking.

The PB35’s black titanium finish and programmable illuminated halo colours along with easy-to-install plug-and-play connectivity make it a versatile option for push button replacement or first-time installation. The PB35 are supplied as 24v or 12v for the Alarm Push

This means that engineers will have access to critical information at the scanning of the code. And because the QR codes lead to a website with the latest documents, they’ll always have the most up-to-date manuals each time they consult them.
