What year 2023 has been, some downs but lots of ups, and definitely growth, lots of creativity, sharing and fun, to more of that for 2024! β₯οΈπ₯°

I've just finished a firing for my Christmas and some commissions... βΊοΈπ I will now wait for January to get back on the wheel, I'm already bubbling for ideas!

I haven't had time to list everything yet while I am in France for the saddest of days in my family, but there is a good selection and I will finish tomorrow morning! π₯°
All set at Bridwell today! It's looking fantastic! π And I've managed to open my kiln this morning full of more mugs, spoon rests, plant pots, soap dishes and little boxes... π₯°β¨ππ
I'm all wrapped up with a hot water bottle too to feel cosy throughout the day. π₯
My spoon rests have been my best sellers this year! I have made more for the Christmas market tomorrow, can't wait! They come with a wooden spoon and make the perfect Christmas present! They're dishwasher safe too! π€ The stamped ones (not pictured) have texture and also make great garlic graters! ππππ

This rainbow cloud moon jar is exhibited at the Present Makers exhibition until 23rd of December! Along with more of my ceramics, although they sold really well at the opening yesterday while I was doing a demonstration so I need to make some more! ππ€
There is such a fantastic collection of artworks to make amazing presents! Really chuffed to be part of it and amongst other amazing artists and friends. π₯°
I've just dropped these two feather raku burnished pots at ! πͺΆβ€οΈ
I've made them using my chickens' feathers so they are extra special... π₯°

It was also the occasion to see the stunning solo exhibition by Julie Dunster at the Seaglass gallery, and I felt transported to a calm, magical and almost nostalgic space for a few minutes! Do not miss it while it's on until the 12th November! Incredible talent, wish I had more time to be immersed in the amazing tones and warmth of her paintings...π

I am finally able to make again after fixing my kiln. I've changed one element that was broken and also changed the fibre around the lid... π€π₯
I am very excited to have my work selected to be part of Thelma Hulbert Gallery Present Makers exhibition starting on the 11th of November! I will be giving a demonstration of my decoration technique 11-12pm for the opening day. π₯°π€
Tomorrow! Hopefully with a new load of pots if the kiln gods allow! π π₯°π₯π€
This was a fun bowl to test some of my new glazes... I experimented a bit more with altering thrown shapes before the summer, but not sure where it will take me yet. Now I'm a bit more in production mode ahead of Christmas markets and some planned exhibitions etc ... But I'm sure I will keep experimenting and finding my way! π₯°π

I still need to populate more gallery sections and refine some little corners, but I was getting impatient to get it out into the world!! π₯°
day 2 and 3! Cuban trogon and eastern rosella, perfect birds for some mindful carving and colourful painting! π€ The colours will change a bit after the glaze firing, can't wait to have a whole little collection if them! π Though I definitely can't keep up the pace of one per day with these so it will be a selection... π

Love this colour combination for my rainbow raindrop mugs! ππ This one will be at the Tiverton Market Fest on Sunday 24th September! Looking forward to this busy festival alongside a food festival as well! π€π

Birdtober is fast approaching! ππ¦π¦ββ¬Third time I will be participating in this bird challenge. I am getting my supplies ready and preparing a few bird whistles!!! ππ₯³ so this time I will be doing a mix of painting and ceramics, especially to practice sculpting... π₯°π€

These new ring dishes or trinket dishes will be with me at the Bradninch Town Fair this Saturday 16th September! π€

The project I took part in last year is now installed in front of the library! ππ€ Such a fantastic art piece by .speyer.ceramics that engaged schools and the community! I did one of those selfie tiles, it was a lot of fun! ππ₯° And thanks to for making it happen! π

Not much pottery happening during the holidays, but between France, a gap in UK and India, I have finished this damselfly! π₯°π€ It was inspired by that wonderful summer feeling of swimming with these stunning creatures in the river Culm on a beautiful warm summer evening...πβοΈπ
A new trio of playful mini moon jars... π₯°βοΈπ§οΈπ§ These will be with me at the Shaldon pottery fair on Saturday 12th August! I really can't wait for this event, I usually miss it when I'm away but this year I'll be back just for it! ππ€ I'll have a lot of new stock too! βΊοΈ It is in such a beautiful.location and I'm excited to meet all the other potters, definitely not to be missed! π€
