The transport consultants WSP has been appointed to undertake this work which will involve the analysis of the supported bus network will assess its performance, connectivity, customer needs and value for money. In particular this work will look at options for the Council to run its own buses as opposed to contracting services in order assess if better value can be achieved and/or allow greater control/flexibility and improved connectivity.
As part of stakeholder engagement a survey will be launched week beginning 5th August 2024 to allow bus (and non-bus users) to comment on the bus network in Fife. It will run for 4 weeks and be available to complete online following the link below or by post/paper format.
Paper copies of the survey will be available from Monday 5th August from St Andrews, Leven, Glenrothes, Kirkcaldy and Dunfermline bus stations or they can be requested by calling 01592 583223 or emailing [email protected]
