Welcome to Bloompca. I hope you enjoy looking around. My name is Debi and I am a 12blueprints Personal Colour Analyst based in the beautiful city of Dartmouth, NS. I have always been interested in clothes and fascinated by colour. I knew there were some colours that could frankly make me look ill, and others that were much better on me. Yet I often bought clothes that looked good on the rack, or on someone else, then got frustrated about on discovering that colour didn’t work for me. That’s where colour analysis comes in- it is an objective analysis of the colours that harmonise best with your skin tone. It helps us look your best, makes shopping so much easier and brings out your natural beauty.
Interested in finding out your colours? I’m now booking new clients. Message me today for more info.

Did you know that having a personal colour analysis can help you transition to your natural hair colour? One of the biggest fears women have when their hair silvers, is becoming invisible. As you can see with my Dark Winter client, knowing the colours that are in your skin and wearing them, make you more visible not less. Isn’t she rocking her natural hair and her colours?

Not everyone needs high chroma. This beautiful client needs colours that are low in chroma and warm neutral in hue to look her best. Her palette is gentle, warm and peaceful.

Our Story

Clothing can be fun. Clothing must be practical for our lifestyle and weather. Clothing can be cheap or expensive. But so often, shopping for clothing can be a source of stress for many of us. We all know people who seem to dress effortlessly and wear things that seem authentically them, yet when we try we end up feeling like it just doesn't work. That’s where Personal Colour Analysis (P.C.A.) comes in. It is an objective analysis using the science of human visual perception. We will observe how your skin reacts to the 3 dimensions of hue (warmth or coolness), value ( light or darkness) and chroma (clarity or muted-ness) in a variety of colours. We do this in a colour-neutral environment by placing specially calibrated materials (drapes) next to your face and noting the ones that find most harmony with the colours that are in your skin. Once we have compared over 40 drapes we will be able to categorize you into one of 12 colour groups or ‘seasons’ which tell us the colours that will perfectly complement your colouring.

Shopping becomes so much easier when we know which colours will make us look more radiant and healthy. All that, without disguising a thing in our appearance.

The cost of a Personal Colour Analysis is $250 all in, with various discounts running throughout the year. This includes a swatch book of 65 colours worth $95 which gives you the confidence to shop knowing you are choosing your best colours for clothing, hair and makeup. There is also the opportunity to try lip and blusher in your season’s shades.
