A busy weekend of new clients, Colin the 13 week old dachshund, Buster the 10 week old beagle. Zella the 14 month lurcher X, Betty the 1 year old frenchie and of course Miss Roxy the German shepherd again! She was so tired from all the training she was sleeping by the end of the session!

Jaxon and Lukmee joined us for their first group walk today. I have known them both since they were puppies so it’s great to see them again and I look forward to our adventures 🐾

Sibble and Roux had their first session on loose lead and reactivity today.
Ralfie also did a session on his overexcitement around other dogs while on a walk 🐾

Griff, Ted, Mabel and Olive had a nice socialisation and play!
Socialising puppies correctly and properly with other puppies is essential for their development. It helps them learn important social skills, such as communication, proper play behavior, and understanding canine body language. This interaction also aids in building confidence, reducing fear and aggression, and preventing behavioral issues in the future. Additionally, it provides mental stimulation, tires them out and helps puppies form positive associations with other dogs, making them more well-rounded and sociable pets.

I took Solo for a training walk for his owners, he is a very happy Labrador who is just very excitable around other dogs so we are working on his reactivity when passing dogs and people 🐾

Next set of obedience classes for dogs over 1!

Starting Saturday 28th September 2024 11am-11:50am
They will run for 6 weeks, finishing 2nd November 2024.
Classes will be held at Braunston Secure Dog Walking Field

The cost of classes is £70 for a 6 week block, all aspects of training and behaviour are covered and dogs/handlers can go at their own pace with tailored advice to meet their individual needs.
