Two fantastic batting performances over the weekend but two different outcomes.
For the 1st team James Du Toit with an impressive 84 was the bedrock of a team total of 234/6, Sam Lewis contributing with an important 42. Llandudno all out for 133 as we secured a 101 run win. Harrison Jones 3 wickets for 4 runs the pick of the bowling.
For the 2nd team Gerallt Lyall claimed a thoroughly deserved century scoring 113 of the 197/5 total veteran Chris Brown stranded on 48*. Unfortunately this wasn't enough on a good batting wicket as Mold 2s chased down the total for 4 wickets.
The 3rd team game on Sunday away at Conwy was abandoned with us well set on 103/3 after 24 overs andca big total in sight Will Schrimshaw well set on 40* when the rain fell.

We are back in action on Tuesday evening as we welcome St. Asaph for a Flintshire Knockout Trophy T20 match.
Play begins at 18:15, the bar will be open and let's hope the summer weather reappears!

We didn't get the win today but in fantastic style our very own Gerallt Lyall christened the new scoreboard with a brilliant Century. 113 of a total of 197 Congratulations 12k Gez

Rounding off the weekend results a fantastic win for an incredibly youthful 3rd team who secured a 195 run win against on Sunday.

Congratulations to Umer Farrukh who claimed a well deserved first senior 50 before retiring not out to give others a chance to bat, amazing achievement and even better gesture for the team.

John Williams also reached a half century before retiring while skipper Josh Jones was out for an agonising 48.

In bowling out Bala for 25 young Sam Kitching claimed 3 for 6, Josh Jones also 3 for 6 and Eshaan Pasha 2 for 6.

It's another scorcher today so why not come and chill out at the Best Beer Garden in Denbigh?

Always a great part of the season as the Under 9s festivals get under way today.
We're here at Carmel Cricket Club with Halkyn and Connahs Quay

Definitely a mixed day of results for the senior teams today.
1st team slipped to a 120 run defeat away at Mochdre
In contrast the 2nd team cruise to a comprehensive 9 wicket win in under 2 hours of play at Ystrad Road. 6 wickets for Darren Nixon bowled Halkyn all out for 42 and a quick fire 30 not out from Andy Thomas saw us home.

A huge develoment for the club today as for the first time we have two of our girls playing in the same team for North Wales .wales at Oswestry School da iawn Celyn a Leah.

It got a bit nervy at the end but two cool, calm heads in Joe Lewis and Stuart Griffiths saw us over the line for a two wicket win to start the season.

Great to be able to start junior training outside for the first time this season.....next week it's All-Stars and Dynamos turn to join us again..

Cricket is back at Ystrad Rd, and we don’t do things by halves! A game for every day of the bank holiday.

For the first game of the season on Saturday it would be great to see as many families and partners as possible at the ground to start the season in style. We're looking forward to seeing you all there!

We have taken the decision to postpone tomorrow’s sponsored walk to the summit of Yr Wyddfa. The weather forecast including high winds for Eryri has left us with no other option.

The new date for our walk still be April 21st when we hope the weather will be kinder to us ⛰️ ☀️ .
