Bishop Gregory will give a memorial homily at a special service in Llandaff Cathedral to commemorate people who have suffered exclusion from Christian communities because of their sexuality or gender identity. He will join the Bishop of Llandaff, the Rt Revd Mary Stallard who will open the service with a welcome and prayer. The service takes place on Saturday 26 May at 5.30pm. Come and celebrate Jesus ascension to heaven in St Mary's Church in Denbigh at 12 noon on Thursday 9th May.

After the service bring your lunch to share a time of community together.

As part of the national Thy Kingdom Come initiative through the afternoon there will be prayer stations set up around the church to inspire new and interactive ways to pray. Please drop in and spend some time with God in the silence of this beautiful church.

After the service you will have the opportunity to climb the tower to the Bell ringers level. Access is by steep steps so please wear suitable footwear.

Funeral of Joan Dunseath Trustees and Mission Area Treasurer will take place on Monday 22nd at 12 noon in St Sadwrn’s church, followed by internment in the churchyard and refreshments in the Church Institute.
Everyone is welcome.

Help us re-enact the Christmas story (no script needed) as we sing all your favourite Christmas carols and eat every mince pie we can find!

Join us this Saturday for our Teddy Bear's Picnic at St Marcella's Church! Bring your favourite teddy bear, action man, piece of fruit, or just yourselves and join us in eating far too much and enjoying the last of the sunshine! Everyone welcome!

Join us this August, as we'll be exploring what's living in and around our churchyard at St Marcella's Church (Whitchurch) - suitable for all ages!

Led by Isa Lamb, of King's Garden; everything will be provided free of charge and all are welcome!

This Wednesday will be Tea and Talk at 2pm as usual and the guest speaker will be Peter Furniss who has been proactive in getting the bells at St. Mary's ringing again. Please note, there is a funeral in St. Mary's at 1pm. We should be away by 1.45pm but just be warned there may be people in the grounds when you arrive! Looking forward to seeing you there.🙂🛎🔔🔔🔔

Listen to the bells from inside the church, while enjoying a bowl of homemade soup or a bacon/egg bap and a cup of tea/coffee/hot chocolate!

On New Year's Eve, Saturday December 31st, The bells at St. Mary's will attempt a three hour peal. Come to church to hear them from inside. For £3.00 you can have a bowl of soup OR a breakfast bap plus a hot drink. Looking forward to welcoming you!
