Invented in Austria in 1927 PEZ are loved across the world.
Originally only peppermint flavour, however today you can enjoy fruit flavours, sour fruit - as well as fizzy & cola varieties.
In fact the name PEZ comes from creating an acronym of the German word for peppermint “PfeffErminZ”.
Originally the sweets were sold in small tins until 1947, when a mechanical dispenser was launched.
Some of the PEZ dispensers have been produced as limited editions, have become collectors items & sold for large sums of money.
