Sorry I've been away for soooo long, been an incredible year so far filled with new adventures, new commitments and plenty of fun and also illnesses 🙈

I hope you haven't forgotten about me! I am still around, but admittedly a lot less. I'm slowly in the process of sorting out my existing stock as I have decided not to do any physical fairs anymore. I did enjoy the face to face contact but it was a lot of long days away from my family.

I'm now solely selling on Facebook, Instagram and Etsy 😊 Back to online only! But that also means I can reach many of you too.

More Origami Bookmarks Craft Kits in the making for a Party as Party Favours! I kid you not, this IS how much work that goes into making them 🤯 and not included in the picture:
- shapes that needs to be cut out for the bookmarks
- bookmark papers (still yet to be cut)
- Origami hearts that still need to be folded
And I also need to cut, fold, stick all instructions and package them all!
BUT I feel a huge amount of joy receiving an order like this and love making them 💕 THIS is what it means when you support a small business 🥰

Sometimes something in my shop really catches on for some reason and I end up getting lots of orders for the same thing 😅 this month is these Red & Blue Plain paper hearts!
Over 200 of these were sent out in just 2 weeks 🤯 I wonder what they are being made into 🤔

I have to admit I have never been the most organised person. Since having my own business, I've had to learn 😅 Some days are better than others for sure!
This morning I was doing 14 personalised craft kits for some Birthday party bags and they were all different ones, which isn't the easiest order to do but I smashed it 💪 all sent off to some very lucky children 🥰

🦋 Butterfly Dreams 🦋
How are you all? Just as we thought we were getting healthy again, my youngest has been really ill for the past couple of weeks 🤒 we have had a massive battle with the doctor's but I've finally got her some medicine and she's on the mend 🥰 it's been stressful, full of delays and unhelpful staff which led to my daughter suffering for way longer than she should have. Hence my lack of presence on social media as family comes first!
I'm back in my happy place now though, folding my worries away. These Butterflies have gone out to a lovely home and I thought it was fitting too as I've had a lot of requests for Butterflies recently.
Although maybe you can help me - what products would you like to see them become? Any suggestions welcome and I will try and create it 😍

Hello to all my lovely followers! 👋
First of all I would like to apologise to you all as I have been absent for so long. Life got a bit crazy and I haven't been able to keep up so my social media has sadly been neglected. I still love you all and I'm back 😊
Just a little update on my life if you are interested 🤣 so since last year, I have started a new job at my daughters' school, been through 123456 illnesses since working with children (still got a lingering cough! 🥴) - has everyone else been super ill lately too?! These super bugs have been killers this winter! Hope you have all recovered now 🙏
We had a lovey but very busy couple of months too! Christmas, New Year, mine and my youngest birthdays and lots of friends and family visits 🤪 Did you all have a nice holiday?
I have now reopened my shop and the First Order of the Year has just gone out! Not gonna lie my fingers were a bit stiff folding these 🤣 need to get back into practice!
What would you like to see me do this year? Any suggestions welcome 😍

🦋 How's your Friday going? 🦋
I am spending my Friday morning doing one of my favourite origami - the lovely butterfly! When I hear a Ker-ching comes through on my phone from an Etsy sales I am always excited and nervous at the same time. Because... everyone has favourites right 🙈
So grateful someone ordered these pink butterflies 🦋 though - I LOVE folding them! I wonder what they will be used for 🤔

Just made these 🦔 Hedgehog & Butterfly 🦋 ones for a lovely customer for a bulk order and I absolutely love them! They are a bulk order so there was a cheeky discount too 😉

🦋 Sometime simply cut Butterflies are just as beautiful as Origami ones 🦋
These are going into part of some special requested Origami Craft Kits as a shape they can decorate with! I did experiment with folded Butterflies but then they wouldn't have been able to decorate them easily which I thought was a shame. Now they can all bring out their creative side and make all different ones! 🥰

I woke up this morning not realising it was Monday after all the Platinum Jubilee festivities for our beloved Queen Elizabeth 🇬🇧 Did anyone else loose track of their days 😂
It is Monday though so back to work for me! Today I have the pleasure of creating my Origami Star Jar with Quotes with a little twist! I received a commission order to do a

"TO BE READ"

jar full of prompts for the recipient to read for 50 days!
How cool is that?! Can't wait to finish it and send it out 🥰

Apologies for being very quiet, our household has been hit hard with illnesses for the past few week 🤒
We also had a lovely send off for my lovely step granddad the other day 💛

I made some 6cm wide lucky stars for a lovely customer!

Today I'm working on a new commission! And I'm taking over the living room floor for it. Origami is a funny thing, something that ends up so little can start off as a big piece of paper! (30cm ruler on the left for scale)

I do love the uniformity and the therapeutic process of measuring, cutting then folding with such a simple medium. Even better that I can spread out through the house whilst the kids are at school & pre school 😁
