Sorry for the long absence but life become somewhat complicated and all my crafting and creativity had to go on hold.
To say I’ve missed it would be a massive understatement, so I’m slowly working my way to getting back to where Sorciere was and hopefully new and exciting things too.

My biggest news has to be the fact that I’m now growing a little baba in my tummy and am almost halfway there already. So let’s say the creating hasn’t been completely on hold 🤭🤭🤭🤭

Look out for some updates soon and sneak peeks for when the shop is open again.

I’m so excited to get my cauldron dusted off and having my kitchen smell beautiful again. I really hope you guys are too 😘😘😘😘😘

A simple connection of skin is sometimes all that’s needed to help us feel alive.
The human touch is amazing. We underestimate this sense far too much especially when it comes to skin on skin.
A simple touching of hands, a head leaning on a shoulder, a cuddle or even a kiss. These are all connections that we as humans can’t live without.
I for one like to be tactile as often as I can when I feel someone needs it as I know that I crave touch as a form of belonging just as much as hearing what people have to say.

Brush someone’s arm when they are confiding in you, hold someone’s hand when they seem to feel alone, kiss someone’s cheek to tell them they are loved. It’s all important, trust me 💜

Next year I’d love to tick this place off my list of places I want to visit

The last few days has had me feeling all sorts of emotions and I know it’s been the build up to this months full moon.
Make sure if you’ve been feeling this way you use tonight’s special full moon to release whatever it is that’s been filling you up. We all need a chance to be open to new feelings so now is a good time to empty out the rubbish and make room for something good.
If you’ve been feeling overshadowed by something just like I have, then just remember how beautiful the moon looks when you can see it in all its glory. We too can have our full days, so keep shining.

Making up my last orders for this year and it feels so bitter sweet.
I remember ordering my first batch of beeswax at the beginning of this year just for something to do in a lockdown that was testing my mental health to the max.
I hope in the time in between I’ve provided some nice bits and bobs for all my customers.
Thanx again for all your support it has really meant the absolute world to me.

So this weekend I’m going to close the doors to my little Etsy store for a while.
Sorciere started because I wanted to put a little love out into the world and maybe find something that I was good at.
So at this crossroad in my life I need to look inwards for that love that I so desperately want to share. Taking a break from creating is my way of recharging.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you that has liked, shared or commented on all our posts and especially anyone that’s purchased any of my makes. It truly has meant the world to me over what’s been a challenging year.

As the creator of Sorciere I’ve decided to take a break from creating for a while.
From 06/11/21 I will be closing my Etsy store and taking some time to focus on the things I need to at the moment.
I know it’s not the best time with Christmas fast approaching but I can’t put all that I want to into my little sideline at the moment and that’s not how I want Sorciere to be.
Feel free to place any orders up until next weekend and these will be processed with love and care just like always.

Sorry for the radio silence of late.
Priorities for me have changed a little recently and I’ve had to focus more on doing what I need to rather than what I want to.

I’ve stolen this lovely ladies words because it’s pretty much where I’m at in a nut shell.

Yes 2021 has been tough, and not at all what I expected it to be. And it’s far from over yet.
But I’ve found an inner strength that I’d forgotten I had. Thanks to amazing friends and family I can continue to keep pushing myself forward to get to my end goal and be myself once more.
I’ll never be the same, as I’ve had to grow and adapt. But it’s ok to evolve into a new version of yourself as long as it’s your choice and authentic. I can’t say I’ll never make mistakes again, I’m guessing they’ll be a lot more 🤪 But I’ll always be honest to those I love and to myself. If I love you I’ll tell you and hopefully you’ll feel it too. But keep on hurting me and I’ll be gone. I bruise just like everyone else, inside and out.

It’s a constant battle to keep my mental health stable, so is an important reminder to check in on yourself and those we care about.
There’s lots of little things I do to try and keep well but the most important is talking to the people I trust about how I’m feeling.
The darkest moments of my life have been whenever I’ve shut myself off from everyone and let my head get fuzzy.

If you’re feeling something tell someone. Saying things out loud is so much better than letting them run wild around inside your own head.

Every one of us is facing a battle to keep healthy………we don’t mind talking about what we do to keep our bodies healthy but struggle when it comes to our emotions. And after all, it’s emotions that set humans apart from all other species and make us all as individuals so very special.
