Our pharmacy teams work hard every day under difficult circumstances to support the health and wellbeing of our community.
We are a valuable part of the NHS and play an important role in reducing GP and hospital pressures by providing a range of services such as the new pharmacy first service, contraception services, blood pressure checks, advice for long-term conditions and treating common illnesses, as well as providing advice about medicines, and supplying medicines.

Pharmacies are experiencing severe financial pressures. Since 2015 our funding has reduced in real terms by 40% and in that time over 1,400 community pharmacies have closed.

Today we support the national one-day campaign .

Local pharmacies are at the heart of our communities, providing essential healthcare services, advice, and support. However, many are now facing closures due to funding cuts and rising operational costs. This not only impacts the dedicated staff but also limits access to vital medications and services for everyone.

**Important Message**

Due to illness, we have unfortunately had to cancel the COVID-19 vaccination clinic we had scheduled for tomorrow.

If you need a booster our next clinic will be Friday 22nd, from 9am till 1pm.

Measles is a serious illness that is highly infectious. To be protected from measles and other infections including mumps and rubella, you need to be immunised with 2 doses of MMR vaccine.

I've you've not had both doses or are unsure get in touch with your GP to get booked in.
