Retro EZ is now my full time business and it's hard paying the bills, pretty much hand-to-mouth. I can't afford currently to compete with the big boys in terms of expensive accelerators and upgrades; the profit is never in your pocket, it's always invested in the next batch of 'something'. So the plan is to focus on Amiga 'essentials' ...builders, sellers and hobby owners, please let me know what your everyday needs are, if I can stock them and do same day/next day what would you like me to keep in stock?

A trip into Derby town centre yesterday and a quick visit to the awesome Retro World store https://www.retro-world.co.uk/ They had a small handful of Amiga games (mainly cover disks etc) but they also have a big box copy of Curse of Enchantia for £20 (a little tired) but still a top title that currently commands around £50 online!

Picked up a copy of Bitmap Brothers Speedball 2100 for PS1, be interesting to see how they've progressed on the Amiga classic...
..followed by lunch at the New Water Margin https://www.newwatermargin.co.uk/ which was fantastic, great service and good food.

Back at https://www.sorethumbretrogames.com/ in York today, amazing selection of PS1 games! Thanks to thanks to Liam, who hooked me up with a couple of games to help complete my Army Men series... Had an insanely great meal at https://rosasthai.com/ Thai Restaurant and found a local craft shop, with a range of items made from old circuit boards!

Retro EZ will be standing at ZZAP! Live! 2024 hosted at the Holiday Inn, Kenilworth, on Saturday, August, 17th.. There will be dedicated Commodore & Amiga sections, as well as lots of other awesome consoles and systems.

We'd love to see you at the show and we'll be bringing a mixture of the usual Amiga compatible upgrades & add-ons and also a few of our own personal system spares and machines to sell on!

For everyone who is going to the Revival 'Game Not Over' The UK's biggest and best dedicated retro-gaming convention, this Weekend, in Wolverhampton... Retro EZ will not only be standing as normal, but we'll have all of our personal 'spare' gear for sale (or as much as we can fit on the stand!).
..we have around 15 storage racks of equipment, not just Amiga, but Amstrad, Consoles, Handhelds, Atari, Spectrum etc. We might have to stack things on tables, under tables, at the side of tables. But please visit us, as this Weekend, we'll be bringing more than just Amiga! We've just discovered that our online store, on the www.retroez.com site has been down for the last few weeks. The site has been live, but when trying to view products it shows as 'down for maintenance'. We have spoken to Support, who claim that we logged in and Closed the store (which is not the case). We reached out to a few recent abandoned baskets, due to this issue and a few have kindly successfully re-placed their orders.

It has come to our attention that https://www.amigacoffin.com/search?q=buffee has stolen the text we wrote on our online store associated with the BUFFEE accelerator project and back orders claiming they are a UK reseller. They are also cloning this on ETSY too. This was raised to us by the BUFFEE team directly. Amiga Coffin is not an official reseller and is known for selling unfinished Beta versions of other copyrighted products, such as PIMIGA. Please share this post far and wide with all in the community and we encourage you not to pre-order from him. We have already paid a few thousand pounds to ensure we get a batch of BUFFEE boards on launch, we are also an Alpha/Beta tester. If you look at our website you will see the text has been cloned (although once they see this, they may change it). We also advertise BUFFEE in Amiga Addict and we are the genuine UK reseller. We have confirmed with the BUFFEE team that Amiga Coffin has not signed a reseller agreement and has not ordered any stock. Stabilisers and MX Brown Switches have finally arrived for upcoming A600 keyboard builds ;)

Fully assembled and tested Amiga 2000 RGB2HDMI cards, now in stock. Plug-and-Use, SD card pre-loaded. We'll be adding these to our store shortly. If anyone wants one before then, please DM us ;)

We are working on 1. an externally cased mechanical A600 keyboard (to compliment our EZ600 case builds) and 2. like-for-like replacements, Mechanical w/ MX Switches for the stock A600 boards. The PCBs are not our design, however, we are funding moulds for keycaps. The externally cased units will include a USB converter, allowing them to be connected back to the A600, converting back to a Ribbon cable at the A600 end.

We can fund one batch of keysets. Unfortunately any additional batches still need to meet a minimum order value, so beyond batch one; we'd have to fund it via paid back orders or a Kickstarter.

We need your help. Please let us know what colours you would like for a. the initial batch we will fund up front and b. should we do a back order 'paid' list or Kickstarter for a second batch, which colours you would also like to see. Colour sets will be as per the OEM keyboard layout. I.E. two tone (general lettering in a primary colour and special keys in a secondary colour). We will map your replies into a spreadsheet and share the results. Also, please let us know how you would feel about a Kickstarter for a secondary colour choice?
