Today I've been trying to reorganise my house to better store the gathering collection of artwork. As always my day started with a walk in the woods and some photography.

🎨 Today's Featured Artist is Rhoda Lynne, a Derby-based artist, who creates these quirky and colourful nature-inspired paintings, using alcohol-based inks. "I paint vibrant and quirky nature-inspired abstracts, uplifting landscapes, effervescent still lifes, as well as, fantasy worlds, planets and waterscapes. I use primarily alcohol-based inks on Yupo or Nara paper, which is waterproof, enabling the inks to move around. Inks are a fluid medium, although I occasionally branch out into some mixed-media artwork. My art captures moments of joy, peace and reflection in the world around me." 1 year since I took these photos. Google has some strange ideas about what goes together. However, I don't know what what I would do without, my amazing sisters, who cheer me on and encourage me to keep going. Maisie unfortunately has no sense of decorum, but Google felt she and the fungus photos fit together.
