Saturday 6th July is the date of Spondon Safari. We are selling books in aid of Cancer Research outside the shop.

My Sirdar blanket is progressing, still need to attach these pieces. A bit of an error on the spacing of the flowers on the green panel but may just leave it. The shop will be closed next week. We are open today as normal, and tomorrow until 2.30. Then closed Monday to Friday. Open on Saturday 1st June. Enjoy your Bank Holiday.

Just arrived the 'Exclusive Coronation Keepsake Blanket Labels', we expect the yarn for this project to arrive within the next few days. This is a crochet along from SIRDAR, each week a new part of the design is released online for you to produce this fabulous Blanket. The required 13 balls of yarn with the label are available from us for £28.99. I am sure this is going to be a very popular project! The Blanket info. will be launched on 1st March but the 1st instructions are not available until 8th March.

We expect to receive our batch of yarn next week. Many of you have reserved your kit which includes a sew on label to finish your project. The crochet along now starts on 8th March.
