You will have noticed the lack of activity on here. Started with COVID like most places.
I've had Arthritis for several years which I was able to deal with. However, I now need my shoulders repaired/ replaced. The first to take place in the next few weeks. Then a good few months physicall recovery. Hazard of the job I suppose. To be pain free will be a God send. 🙏
The Harris Tweed & 'Derbyshire' tartan will still be available to purchase, no minimum order postage included.
I will post colours of the Tweed in Fat Quarter sizes.

This passed year has been challenging to say the least.
Especially this latest lockdown.
We're finding it especially as both our Adult Son's are KEY Worker's & live at home with us.
I have underlying health issues.
Will explain more if anyone has questions.

My new 'micro' cutting mats & some 100 % 3 layer Cotton washable face masks.

About 3 weeks ago I lost my balance, tripped & fell, my head hitting the slate tiles on the kitchen floor.
Attended A&E given the appropriate info.
Two weeks later was sent to A&E in Derby.
Several hours after bloods, bp, heart tracing, I have Vertigo. More medication to help this too.

I could quite happily overlock all day with my upgraded overlocker bought from Jaycotts. Twenty odd years does make a huge difference.

Was a bit worried about the bias binding! Think it's ok.

This new overlocker has been working hard. So glad I upgraded.

We are all going through very challenging times. No idea when this will end.
No call for luxury products. So, we have joined the largest Sewing B by supporting our NHS.
Started with scrubs & now using up some of the Cottons I have making scrub hats.
We need to be positive & more importantly, Stay Safe, take care.

Talking 'Derbyshire' tartan to another lovely group in Alfreton this afternoon.
We always enjoy the talks and we always come back with new ideas and suggestions for products.

Fronts, backs and bases all fused. Leaving overnight to let them stabilise before putting together. Meanwhile, time to cut the linings.
