Okay! It was a barn-buster night last night and I thank all who came out to wish us well. OPEN TODAY 5 - ??. We have very little beer left (just some Pgh Porter) and we have plenty of the two wines in the picture. Lots of gin and what’s left of our whisky collection is left for sale too. Well, I've tried my best but after 6+ years it is impossible to continue with massive energy bills, drinks products rocketing in price and a 60% drop in footfall from a year ago. It's just unsustainable. I do realise that you, our great customers are all suffering through the same thing. Combine all this with changing social habits and wow has the world changed in a short period of a few years. But, when one door closes another opens. So, I look forward to the next exciting chapter in my life. I will miss all the great conversations, friendships and fantastic times and I hope you all can drop by this FRIDAY & SATURDAY 5PM-10PM one last time and have a drink. Also, EVERYTHING MUST GO - fixtures, fittings, refrigerator, freezer, church pew, tables, chairs... Just make me an offer, pay CASH and it's yours. Hope to see you this weekend one last time. Cheers! Well, not a great day when your office space in Borrowash gets broken into and your prize iMac, speakers and accesories is stolen along with a trombone!!!! Well, I got it locked out so no good to anyone and will most likely be cannibalised for parts. I feel really sorry that someone has to stoop to theft to get what they want instead of earning it honestly. Hope that person has a nice life. Grrr.
