Famous again 😂 however I must add the following - The “One Network” have categorically not been in contact with us. No one has contacted any businesses down Meadow Road. Cadent Gas appeared yesterday as if by magic while The Telegraph were waiting for their comment on the situation. Having visited us they didn’t make it to the offices upstairs. Huge effort obviously.
Reading the article is the first time we are aware the works are part of OCOR. Any works regarding OCOR we were told we’d have a liaison officer, which clearly we don’t have.
Trent Barton bus depot issued a map showing the same route as us, displaying they had also either not been contacted or been given incorrect information.
I don’t think it’s a massive ask to inform local businesses and it would normally be a standard part of the job. No one cares about Meadow Road, the current council make that clear time and time again.

UPDATE : Good news (for now) Access from Meadow Road. Amazing this is - The Telegraph contacted us today for our comments about not being informed of the road closure. They had also contacted Cadent Gas Works and were waiting for them to comment. Guess who turns up?! Go on you’ll never get it 😂😂😂🤔 Anyway good news for now is that the road should be staying accessible both ways!!!
Three way traffic lights will be in place to allow people to safely exit the car park onto Meadow Road to turn right as well as the usual to and fro. Please respect these lights - a lot of the vehicles that use Meadow Road are significantly larger than your car 🚌 🚛 😂
