One of our customers has asked us to publicise this survey for MTB trails in Allestree

I’m working on a project to get some Biking Trails built on an old golf course in Allestree Park. The project is being managed by the Wild Life Trust and they want a wide range of people to fill in the following survey, but in their followers there is a shortage of bikers. So would it be possible for you to share this with your contacts or social media?

Race numbers sorted and posted out to all cyclists for the Cycle Derby Sportive in just 2 weeks. There are still a few places left but be quick to avoid disappointment! 🚴‍♂️👍

Officers are investigating reports of a burglary from a shed at Markeaton Park sometime between 5pm on Wednesday 10 March and 12.50pm on Thursday 11 March.

A large number of items were taken, including seven electric bikes, children’s and balance bikes, helmets, cycling jackets, and high visibility vests, along with tools and a number of other items.

Sergeant Daniel Potts, said: “Due to the recent thefts, we have increased our patrols in the local area and want to reassure the local community that we are doing all that we can to find the stolen items and those responsible. We hope by putting out these images that someone will be able to recognise the bikes and get in contact with us.”

“The items which were stolen will undoubtedly impact the local community as they were part of a council-run initiative to give lessons to people wanting to learn how to ride a bike, they also offer an inclusive service with a range of specially adapted bikes for people with disabilities and are invaluable to those who use this service.”

Unfortunately the Cycle Derby Spring Sportive originally planned for 11th April has now been postponed to 23rd May 2021 with all entries being sent an email this evening. We will have a reduced capacity due to COVID-19 restrictions but entries are still available on the PMA website (www.PMA-racing.co.uk)
