From Thursday 26 September QUAD will be holding screenings of One Hand Clapping (PG), a film capturing the moment when Paul McCartney and Wings had found and defined their signature sound. Filmed over four days at Abbey Road Studios in August 1974, the film provides an insight into the inner workings of the band as they work and play together in the studio.

To celebrate our screenings Trafalgar Releasing have provided a vinyl LP copy of the Wings album One Hand Clapping for us to give away to a QUAD customer

WatchWord Glasses are now available at QUAD.

WatchWord is a game-changer for D/deaf, deafened, and hard of hearing film- lovers. The cutting-edge system uses smart glasses and Wi-Fi to open up the magic of the big screen experience. The captions are broadcast straight to a wearable set of smart glasses, users can customise their experience by choosing the colour, size, and position for the captions. QUAD was the first cinema in the UK to participate in a trial of the ground-breaking WatchWord initiative at the beginning of the year.

This week the acclaimed new thriller The Substance (18) can be viewed with WatchWord Glasses.
