Our client Lightbulb help the elderly, disabled and those on low incomes with home improvements, and offer support with the transition from hospital to home. To continue to help as many people as possible, they were looking to raise awareness of their services.

We designed Lightbulb a totally bespoke website that synergised with their existing branding, clearly signposted their different services, and was built with accessibility at its core. It was vital that their website was accessible for their entire audience.

What a great way to celebrate International Women's Day! We spoke with the team at Penguin PR about being female owned, and achieving success at both home and work.

One thing on everyone's minds at the beginning of 2023, was the infamous BBC question following Jacinda Ardern's resignation - Can women really have it all?

Our Marketing Director Anna's take on it is that it depends on what ‘having it all' means to you.

Happy National Apprenticeship Week! It’s no secret that we value high-quality training and pride ourselves on having created an environment that encourages continual learning for our team 🎓

Over the last year or so, working with EMA Training Limited, we’ve gained three very valuable members of the MacMartin team. Here’s what our Digital Marketing Executive Esme says about her past experience as an apprentice:

“Being an apprentice gave me the chance to put my learning into practice. I gained the practical experience I needed, whilst studying the theory behind marketing too. Getting the best of both worlds.

Taking on an apprenticeship gave me the perfect opportunity to start on a career path in marketing, identify what areas I enjoy most, and to learn amongst peers, as well as my colleagues. I loved it!”

We love welcoming new creatives into the marketing industry, providing a space to learn with hands-on experience – an apprenticeship certainly opens many doors 🌟

We had a visitor at MacMartin HQ yesterday, as Matt from Anicca Digital delivered a session on Paid Search for some of the team 🌟

Sessions like this are valuable for continual learning and keeping up to date with the latest industry updates. It was great to have Matt with us yesterday and we look forward to welcoming him back for round two next week! 🙌

Well...yesterday was inspiring! There are some exciting things coming for MacMartin this year, and we can't wait 👀🤩

Some of the MacMartin team visited John Taylor Free School yesterday as our Marketing Director, Anna delivered a session on Social Media and Adolescent Mental Health 🧠

Armed with tea, biscuits and a whole toolbox of advice, Anna spoke with a group of parents about adolescent mental health and the use of social media, and how parents can help their children to take back control.

Each parent left the engaging session with tips and tools that will help their children have a healthy relationship with social media moving forward 📱

Anna is on a mission to change the way a whole generation interacts with social media. It’s always great to see Anna in action and we can’t wait to see her deliver more of these sessions in the future! 👏
