🌟 What an incredible day we had at our Festival of Togetherness last Thursday! It was truly heart-warming to see so many people come together to celebrate community and connection. A huge thank you to everyone who contributed to making the day such a success! Special thanks to The Lord-Lieutenant of Derbyshire, Mrs. Elizabeth Fothergill CBE, His Majesty The King's representative, for her wonderful words on the importance of togetherness and for sharing a special message from His Majesty the King. We’re also grateful to Cllr Nadine Peatfield, Leader of Derby City Council, for her thoughtful speech, and to Vijay Kumari from the National Lottery for her motivational words. A big thank you to Ray Gumbley for capturing the day with fantastic photographs, and to artists Chris Wright, Ashley Morris, and Dani Bello for delivering such engaging workshops. Last Friday was truly memorable! It marked the long-awaited launch of the "Silence of Growing Things" exhibition, which stemmed from Artcore's international residency held in January. The resident artists created beautiful pieces inspired by gardens in Bengaluru (India), Derby, and London, offering a stunning visual treat!. The exhibition opening drew a fantastic turnout from the Derby community. Running until June 22nd, the gallery welcomes visitors from Tuesday to Saturday (12 pm to 5 pm).
