We are sad to have to post this but, our lovely minibus that we rely on to bring our customers in and take them out on trips, swimming and visits, was stolen last night!!!
We would really appreciate it if you could please keep your eyes peeled and share this post as far and wide as possible. We have reported it to the police but are at a bit of a loss as what else we can do.
This has quite a big impact for us and our customers and really hope it is found/ returned ASAP.
Here is a photo of it, reg AF62 KWL. There is a blue, disabled badge on the rear of the vehicle. It has a bump on the rear passenger side, sliding door and inside, there is an internal screen separating the front passenger and driver. The front passenger seat is also just a single seat, there are normally two.
If you have any information, please do send a message directly or email Al Ditheridge [email protected]
Thanks a million.

This morning, a small group headed out to Elvaston Castle in our mini bus. They had a good stroll around the gardens and buildings, then decided to stay for a picnic lunch.
As we are now based in Spondon, the group walked back, using the lovely old canal path that leads from Spondon to Borrowash, which provided cool shade as well as a quiet and safe route back to base.

This morning we used the Derbyshire Community Transport Spondon Village Bus Service, with some of our customers, to help us access some of the village facilities.
The bus driver, Charlie, was extremely helpful and friendly and made the experience extra special.
We went on to visit one of our favourite cafΓ©'s in the village, Cafe Aroma Then on to a charity shop to pick up some CD's, before returning on the bus, back to our centre on Nottingham Road.
10 years ago, Martin and Paul, the Directors of Community Links, opened it's first, centre at the Spot, in Derby. So, it is with some sadness that we close the doors today at the Town Base. However, it is with huge excitement that we look forward to a new move on Tuesday, 27th June.
WE ARE MOVING!!
Community Links are moving to Spondon, and reopening our doors on Tuesday, 27th June. We are moving into the Old Exchange building, formally the Barnardos Famiy Placement Service, on Nottingham Road.
It has been an extremely busy time over the last six weeks, getting some quite major works done to get the building up to our high standards. A lot of blood, sweat and tears have been shed but, it's been oh so worth it. Our very own, bespoke, centre.
We have been on the search for a new venue for a couple of years and were very lucky to have had this opportunity offered to us. We are really looking forward to engaging with the community of Spondon. Our customers are going to have so many great opportunities to use all the great facilities, open spaces and experiences that Spondon has to offer. Infact, we have already joined the gym at Mantis Martial Arts, who have welcomed us with open arms. We also have a small plot at Craddock Avenue Allotment, which we are so excited about spending a lot more time at.
Please bear with us during out transition as we may not be as speedy, answering the phone or messages at the moment. Leave or, send a message an we will get back to you as soon as we can.
We will be posting some pictures very soon of our new centre, we are very proud of it. Our staff team have been amazing helping getting things moved, cleaned and built, while still making sure our customers have the best day with minimal disruption.
There's still much to do before we welcome our customers back next Tuesday but, we know, it's all going to be hugely worth it.
