I would like to wish all our local acts performing in the forthcoming City of Derry Jazz Festival the very best of luck in what has been the hardest couple of years for all musician's.
I unfortunately will not be performing in this years festival due to the circumstances caused by the dreaded covid pandemic in which I had to prioritise and provide for my family by means of hanging up my microphone and concentrate on my daytime career.

It was so sad to hear of the passing of The Derry Jazz Legend, Mr Gay McIntyre today.
My condolences to his family and close friends. I'm sure he will now of joined The Big Band In the sky. Rip Gay 🙏🙏🙏🙏
