Swedish Massage… Whats the difference? 🤔

Techniques used in Swedish massage are fairly similar to those used during a sports massage.

However, the main difference is that sports massage tends to focus on a particular muscle group and involves greater pressure to work deeper into the tissues.

Swedish massage is a traditional form of Western massage, it’s a relatively gentle massage form focused on the body's superficial layers.☺️

Massages are a great way to relax and unwind, by manipulating the muscles and joints to relieve stress or pain.

Getting a Swedish massage can also be beneficial to your heart as well, by manipulating the body's soft tissues (muscles, tendons, ligaments and blood vessels) and using strokes that flow toward the heart, improving circulation. ❤️
